Falcao is f*cking ridiculous, best finisher in the game IMO and he's allround game ain't too shabby either. Hopefully Chelsea don't be the c*nts they are and buy him.
-
Just looked at Falcao's wiki and says he played 50 games and he only played 1 domestic cup game and 34 league games.... So it would be beyond 60 if we go far in all 3 competitions.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Mole_Toonfan replied to Pilko's topic in Football
"The Journal understands that the club remain hopeful of securing a deal to bring home Andy Carroll although are said to have other irons in the fire if Liverpool price the financial careful Magpies out of a move for the big Geordie." Nailed it tbh. -
Sure it's fine, but the improvements have not been made to give us a decent chance of replicating last season and competing in the cups. In this league you have to improve to go forwards and we really have not done that so far.
-
Would definitely have him back tbh, i was angry at the time but that's all gone for a while now. Nice to see him have a sense of humor

I know the man says you have four massive days, but I think ours are even more crucial. You have a settled squad and manager, with a couple of obvious issues. We are in transition, with s***-loads of money burning a hole in our pocket, and also squad issues. I'm terrified we'll f*** it up. Great point, when i think about it sometimes i overreact sometimes we have a settled squad that got us 5th last season i should chill out tbh. As for you, i'll be shocked if you don't bring at least one player in, might not be enough but there you go.
-
Yep I'll be so glad when it's over and remind myself to go on more than 1 holiday next time or have a shorter break from work. I shouldn't really involve myself emotionally into the window so much but what ever lol.
-
Sod that Debuchy Kernt as well, totally his fault that the club's cant agree a fee. F*ck them all.

Hazard is more about brain than actual ability, don't get me wrong he's an insanely talented player with absolutely everything going for him. But what make's him so great is his brain, decision making, appreciation of space etc etc he's also very economical he only get's involved when he needs too and then disappears when he knows he isn't needed. While Hatem is more individual ability with insane dribbling and close control which allows him to easily get past 3 or 4 players consistently. Infact combine the both together and you know who you have? Messi.

Lovenkrands played wide most of the time anyway and Marveaux is a much better option. What we are missing is an attacking fullback, upgrade on Best and competition for Saylor, if we could have got that then it would be considered a 10/10 window tbh. I'd just take the attacking fullback now tbh
-
Not worried about the midfield if it's used correctly as it's very strong. The concern i have is behind Cisse and Ba there's nobody and a weak link at RB has still not been rectified and if Saylor gets a long term injury i don't want to see Williamson being relied upon for so long. Hopefully Ben Arfa, Cisse and Santon having full season's etc etc will be enough to make sure we don't go backwards. As pointed out already the main concern is in this league if you don't improve then you go backwards.
-
No one's moaning IMO just disappointed that an opportunity to go further has been missed..... it's more frustration more than moaning. Obviously it won't go tits up like last time as the club as a whole is in better shape but it's still a missed opportunity IMO. That's if no one comes in the next 4 days.
-
Anita isn't the new Bowyer. As in we should have pushed on and bought more than 1 first team player is what i meant. It will be another missed opportunity IMO.
-
Nothing will happen and we will go backwards as a result. Anita is the Bowyer of 2012.
-
Will probably end up being excellent analysis of what actually happens tbh
-
i do, keeps away any rumours of krul going there Ah good point, still he's quality and would rather see them go for someone a bit worse.
-
Luckily for Spurs they are a well run club and i doubt any of those GK's are on massive wages. They do need a long term GK, Lloris would be a fantastic signing and from a Newcastle POV i hope they don't get him.
-
Where's this Dempsey talk coming from? is there actually any legitimate sources indicating they might actually get him or just rumours?

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

We wouldn't accept 16m for either of them..... -

I would get concerned if Chelsea, City or Man U were linked with him and Tiote but it's Arsenal and we all know Arsenal won't pay anywhere near what Ashley will want. Not concerned at all. -
Agreed completely, i wouldn't break up a successful partnership just because we signed someone else. He will have to force his way in like everyone else, but extra quality is always nice.

Aye, that's my opinion too. As for Debuchy he's a good all round fullback..... he's good in defence and in possession and great and making off the ball runs in the attacking third. Getting someone like him would help Ben Arfa as he would relieve the attacking burden from Hatem. Having Ben Arfa and Debuchy running down the right hand side is a daunting task for any LB. I don't know if i'm alone here but i feel atm that Ben Arfa has too much attacking responsibility, in the first two games it seems like if Ben Arfa didn't do something then no one would. I realise the likes of Cabaye and others are clearly not fit yet but still.
