Ah well, ASM is probably worth 40m now and we'd probs get 16m for Joelinton from some sucker back in Europe, so no harm done.

Saw an angle of the 1st that made it look clear cut. He looks a clown saying "from where I stood", look at a fucking replay then

Source for this? Unless you mean those sky sports stats which are attack related only. Our defensive record is far from bottom 3. Though after yesterday theres still time!!

I'd say creep isn't as bad as weirdo because if you're a weirdo you're an absolute freak as well. Depends though; do you hate Steve Bruce or do you hate the creeps who hate Steve Bruce? Creep to me implies some form of sexual deviancy. Whereas a weirdo can be more innocent, like left handed people, Warhammer nerds or people who have fish on pizza. Edit - people who do the milk before water for tea are both iyam I just creep around virgins. Don't know about you. I rest my case

Really like the look of him. Gets up and down the pitch but seems very comfortable on the ball and always looking for it.

Young pup meets old master. Watch and learn Eddie lad.

Hopefully City will sit back a bit now and let us get in to the heady heights of the 20% possession range

I've got so much to do and I'm wasting my time on this embarrassing shite

Well he should do really, considering the amount of vocal support he gets from football pundits. If you think he deserves credit for the job he's done, then you are really not giving him it by saying that there won't be many clubs looking to hire him. If they don't then they clearly think he's shit, which is all his critics have ever argued in the first place. I doubt any of them would give him a job if they ran a club - it's just bigging up mates etc. And I said goodwill not credit. He has done ok, but there was a lot of luck and riding Rafa's coat-tails. You could say the best thing about him this season was that he wasn't shit enough to totally undo all of Rafa's work. I don't want him to have the opportunity to do that!

And would also potentially be a matter for the Serious Fraud Office if that were happening. All the PL can legally consider is whether the proposed directors have committed a criminal offence (and their rules say they will give a decision within 5 working days). If they were to have come to the conclusion that they have, or not able to make up their mind, but were negotiating some kind of financial settlement to resolve it, that's potentially a case of extortion. Well I suppose if someone made the complaint and it was phrased like that.

I think Bein are applying loads of pressure and PL are working with PIF to mitigate. Bein could be pushing for a rebate due to lack of exclusivity unless assurances are made re. the piracy or to just scupper the test. PL don't have enough reason to reject whilst also not wanting to spend ££ on a rebate so stuck in the middle. Could also be discussions with SA/PIF on reduced fee for broadcast rights so they can "make good" on Bein. Probably all bollocks of course

And just to show I'm not totally reasonable, I get really irritated over shabby, unhealthy looking managers. Such a bad impression for the players and a poor club figurehead

I'm ambivalent about him really but never watch his interviews. He's just uninspiring and some of his Rafa digs were embarrassing. He's done ok this year but with a healthy slice of good fortune. We wouldn't be getting taken over if we were in the relegation zone, so I'm happy to offer him some form of goodwill for that. If he stays for whatever reason, I'll be very disappointed. He's not a good manager, we all know this. The personal abuse is pointless but whatever. I don't care how he treated Sheffield Weds, and I suspect most people don't but it's just a convenient stick. Selectively showing his attacking stats whilst neglecting our defensive stats are again, convenient. But whatever, it's football and brings out the worst in people. Hopefully in a year we'll have forgotten he was ever here and I can't imagine he'll have a string of clubs lining him up.

Bit harsh on Luke that

They could have rejected after 4 weeks but looks like they've been working with all parties to get it agreed...not that we'll ever probably know the full story.

I don't love him. Not at all. I do think he's done a good job this season (result wise) and I think he gets way too much undeserved stick on here. I want him gone when the takeover is confirmed, but I think he can be proud of what he's achieved here this season. Right, but if you look at every single available metric we are ranked 20th? does that not point you to the fact that we are picking up results despite him, not because of him? That is unsustainably bad. It's also a strange season, not dismissing Sheffield United's season but any remotely decent Prem season would not have them anywhere near the position they are in. There's a dearth of quality teams in the league this season and it shows. I'm not disputing he's shit, but this isn't remotely true There are many metrics where we aren't. Points being one of them and goals conceded being another.

Isn't It because it can be appealed when published? In which case they wouldn't be able to use the judgement... So does that mean the whole report is meaningless to this takeover ? If so why wait for it at all? Well depending on what the report says I guess it could be used to block the takeover, if that's what they wanted. Personally, I think there is a lot of truth in the talk of negotiations between the PL, SA and Qatar on dealing with the protection of Beins broadcasting rights If an agreement is reached, then there isn't really anyone else the PL need to be concerned about. The report can then be published but hopefully a resolution would already be in place and no appeals. If no agreement, then the PL could use the report as they deem fit. Who would they appeal to? The WTO Court of Arbitration isn’t quorate so not sitting. They can still appeal can't they? It just won't be heard until they are sitting. Obviously I don't really have a clue

Bet Ashley has killed dozens with his own bare hands but is just better at hiding the evidence. I dread to think of the number of people entering sports direct warehouses never to come out.

Sounds ominous. So strict apart from Southampton nobody can name a buyer that has failed. Does the decision have to be made public? I assume if the process is confidential and prospective owners don't discuss the outcome then it's possible there are failures you don't hear about.
