  1. I think it's tosspot behaviour wishing it on anyone tbh, but I can objectively understand why people might take that view with MA. Bruce? Nah. Anyone getting teary over a couple of "fuck offs" and "tosspot" on a forum are massive snowflakes. So wishing a heart attack is ok, if it's on someone you dont like? I dont particularly dislike Bruce, the person, therefore I dont wish a heart attack on him. As a manager hes appalling and therefore he should be shot like a rabbit with mixy. No it's never ok in a football context.

  3. Look mate, tell you what a lot are sick of, we all know the sacred fews position, we don’t need to hear you keep banging on about it all day every day, you hate it all, we get it, rehashing the same comments every f***ing day is tedious to read. Posters waiting for Bruce to trip up to have a fun all night taking the p*ss out of posters who just want to support some sort of NUFC , not Ashley, the clique will be happy sitting all smug knowing NUFC have lost tonight, wow, what a life.Nothing is going to change in a hurry so keep up with the bitterness towards the team and fans who just want Newcastle to win football games eh? The board is toxic. 50% of the posters are wanking themselves silly when we lose. The constant posting in match threads, desperate for us to lose is f***ing grim man. I don't why the toxic c***s even post in the match thread? If I wanted the Toon to lose and crash and burn - I WOULDN'T WATCH THE GAME AND I WOULD POST IN MATCH THREADS ON A f***ing FAN MESSAGEBOARD. I'd go for a walk. Go the cinema. Play on my PS4. Go out with my Missus. Hang out with my friends. But then again, I'm not a creep, crying for attention and behaving like an repetitive arsewipe. It is what it is, I guess. You are the most pathetic of the lot after posting that s****. f*** off you tosspot. You can't answer my point. Why would anybody post in a match thread cheering when the other team score? What's the benefit? Why would you do it? It's attention seeking and sad. Toon25 wishing Bruce "the fat c***" has a "heart attack". It's disgusting man. That’s canny bad like wanting the fat c*** to have a heart attack. The NHS doesn’t deserve that like. This is a horrendous comment and nobody says a word. Imagine somebody saying that about your family? You'd be fuming. Honestly this board has totally gone to shit. And yet you are calling people tosspot and telling them to fuck off? Unreal. Are you comparing wishing a heart attack on someone to a poster on a forum telling another poster to fuck off?
  4. Everybody is invested in the result, hugely invested, and that's the point being missed by some posters. Why not have 2 threads? As usual there are a few posters that are at opposite ends of the spectrum who are rather annoying, some more than others. Makes me steer clear which is a shame. I suspect if you did that though, some of the twonks wouldn't bother posting as they clearly only do it for attention.
  5. joint 7th last season. shocking regression What's comparing to last season got to do with anything?
  6. I have to stress I'm not a Bruce fan, but selective stats are pointless.
  7. Aye it was Bruce who made us good defensively.... But he made us worse attacking....
  8. I'm just shocked you're not posting that we're 8th for goals conceded.
  9. Truly shocked that someone doesn't think they can come to an agreement with Mike Ashley. You didn't read the article did you?

  11. We're clearly riding some luck and Dubravka is having a very good spell. Can't see the luck in particular lasting. I don't hate Bruce but also have no interest in watching any interviews with him. Soft spot for a fair few of the players (utterly pumped for Miggy ) so find it hard to turn off completely or celebrate losses.

I assumed the Americans looked at the books and valued the club as X. The Don has overvalued it as Y based on potential. Americans offered £10m now as a loan, which if promoted this season will be exchanged for a % of the club at a league 1 value i.e. if promoted then their % will increase in line with Champ value. They have minimal risk as if not promoted they get their £10m back. If promoted, they have a sizeable share of an appreciating asset. Don gains as he has £10m now rather than using his own funds and a commitment in the future from a significant investor. Would have been a plan if they weren't so monumentally shit this season

How would Ashley fund the rest himself? Pay the other £20m out of his personal account? He could write off £20m from his loans I suppose. No idea if we paid cash up front or whether it was in instalments. Either way I doubt it would mean him physically paying over £20m immediately, and in reality I doubt he will subsidise it all now!

I don't think he cited it as a reason. I vaguely remember Ashley saying that Rafa only thought he was worth c.£20m so Ashley said he'd fund the rest himself. I'm sure he's reneged on that now that Rafa has left...

Combined with the premium price being asked for us, I don't blame them for not pursuing tbh.

  17. I rescind this. Actively dislike him now.
  18. If they're doing instalments so that they can invest in the club short term then I don't see the problem. Not many people who can afford to buy outright and spend 100-150m on the infrastructure and squad improvements needed off the bat.
  19. Dear God. He's like a caricature of a PFM.
  20. Some right dicks on this forum. There's still kids and the like going to the games and they absolutely should not be subjected to racist, sexist and other abuse. Even if its not directed at them, they don't need to hear/see it. Its completely separate to any protests, and if NUST did become a militant anti-NUFC/Ashley group then I'm sure they wouldn't be allowed any contact with the club. It's also more than likely that the club employees they are liaising with have probably never met Ashlsy and are decent people wanting to do their job and protect the supporters who are going. I get the scorched earth approach people might want to take with the club at the mo, but if we ever get rid of Ashley, people seem to expect that everything will immediately start being rosy. In reality, any issues mentioned by Greg not dealt with now will still be there regardless of ownership.
  21. I don't hate Bruce, but where I used to hunt out all Rafa interviews, I actively avoid Bruce. Unfortunately as a manager is pretty much your main link in to a club, it's left me rather ambivalent
  22. Ha ha fucking hell im not that bad man I don't say anything different to most people on here tbf Just over and over and over and over again and again and again and again
  23. He's probably saying this only because he thinks in simplistic terms, but it's actually very patronising, and he should know better. He's effectively saying Steve Bruce should be judged on his local roots, and his actual managerial ability shouldn't be questioned. Does he think all managers should get a free pass if they are local then? I read it differently and think he's almost marginalising Bruce. Reckon he is purely saying you can't blame him for taking the job and it's Ashley's fault for giving it to him when he's not up to it.
