The report is complete. So nothing to delay it. Still due on the 14th (I think). If either party appeals it when officially published then I guess it could delay whilst appeal heard. Though apparently there is no one to actually listen to any appeal. Who knows what would happen then...

I don't expect to come on here and be told how to manage my white goods. If I want to keep my fridge warmer than the recommended temperature then I'll do so
-
Yeah, it's all well and good bitching at the FA but if they hadn't openly conducted piracy we'd be wanking over some massive £100m signing by now.

I don't think anyone is over reacting over it, just saying that it's a bit disappointing if he (because of the reasons you've just said) has decided to go down the route like so many others of inferring ITK knowledge. Or if he hasn't and you've simply misinterpreted his post? Yeah I just thought he meant make sure you fridge is working cos you'll want cold cans when it happens, not that it was happening imminently. I can see why people might have seen it that way, but not worth getting upset about it.

No. Saudi Arabia are free to contest it afterwards of course. There is more info in the page I linked. Not according to the ex WTO bloke of 15 years mind. Don't doubt that. The PL's decision however does not require a definitive ruling. They are free to base their decision on a 1st level panel, a draft, heresay or whatever and live with the consequences. Working with a government regulator myself, no way are they going to act off a draft.

Bloody hell, what a shit-bag

Beacause 13 years of no one matching his valuation tells us they don’t exist. We all get people having objections to the Saudis, and I don’t class myself as heartless with no morals. However, rightly or wrongly this takeover whether you like it or not is our only option, 13 years evidence of no successful takeovers tells us this. Am I a bad person for turning a blind eye, maybe but where all hypocrites in some aspects of our life. Or his valuation was too high and he didn't want to sell. He apparently wanted nearer 400 and is now settling for 300. Not surprising if other bidders now pop out of the wood work if that's the case.

Just have a beer. I'm not particularly stressed to be fair, but if this was the new information everyone went on about then assume its being considered. Just seems a lose-lose almost.

So the WTO report isn't final as it allows time for both parties to appeal, but as it apparently supports Qatar's claims we can assume they won't. Then if the Saudi's appeal, it would delay the report which would the PL then use to drag out their review? If the Saudi's don't appeal against the report, is that tacit acceptance of the claims which could then be used against them by the PL? Or am I over reaching?

New information (WHO report) has come to light though which may need to be taken in to account. That was also informal so they may have to wait for the published version (mid-June)? Maybe.... WHO ? World Health Organisation this time ?? ? Oooops, you'd think they'd be busy elsewhere

Why would they await the published version when they have already had the draft version for over 3 weeks? And what in your opinion would that suggest as to the reason into waiting for the published version? There was a maybe for a reason. I don't have a fucking clue Have any of your multi-million projects started on a draft business case? They're clearly waiting for something.

You don't see the point at all, particularly as you're trying to frame people hurling abuse, spitting at, and literally starting on other supporters as 'people with different opinions' Shit, I didn't realise that they started on you! Yeah, that's fine then, they probably deserve financial ruin during a global pandemic. Hope their families end up on the streets too, the little cunts. Yes, laughing at cunts not getting their season ticket money back is the same as wishing them and their families complete financial ruin. In the same way being positive about the takeover is being desperate to be owned by baby bombers? He really doesn't understand it does he. He does, he's sitting at home stroking himself in to a frenzy at all the attention he's getting. Ignore him, it'll hurt him more.

Nah, shows a complete lack of decency in the current situation to say something like that. You know that most likely there are people here struggling financially who could use the money yet you decide to write that instead of just keeping your opinions to yourself. Err, it was ManDoon making the comment not me, I'm saying why some of us can't stand sections of our support. And yeah, keep talking about 'decency' in a thread where everyone's frothing at the gash for their football club to be owned by baby bombers. My heart bleeds. To be fair to Kasper, he hasn't been "one of those frothers" at all, quite the opposite. He just knows the comment was lifting. The relentless pearl clutching over our stoic and noble fans, man. You know fine well there are cunts in our support who were openly antagonistic towards Sack Pardew/Ashley Out and its members. If it's disrespectful to not give a shit about those same people losing out after you watched the way they went on, then it's disrespectful. Who cares. What have the cunts who abused Sack Pardew have to do with any of this? We're just talking about people who've renewed season tickets and might now be in financial difficulty because of covid and needing that money back. You seem to be talking about something completely different. Unless I've missed something ManDoon's was talking specifically about those people. Genuinely love the fact they aren’t getting ticket money back. He didn't specifically mention sack Pardew or Ashley out, and you're the only one who brought up the new owners (agenda). There are a whole middle ground of people who didn't abuse the original protests but also still carry on attending (rightly or wrongly). You have now labelled them as cunts who deserve to lose their money, and also support baby bombers.

I'm sorry, I can't agree with this. It's 2-4 weeks, historically all deals have taken that kind of time to ratify. The Man City one with 3 owners, one from the middle east as a major holder and 2 other minor holders, took what, 22 days? It is a process, yes. It is a complicated process, yes. But it's one with an expected timescale which has been massively exceeded and I don't agree that we cannot infer there might be problems from this. Similarly, people mention "project restart" as if the PL is an organisation of 3 people who all have to do any work that comes in, like they'll down tools on this to prioritise work on that when in reality the PL is a massive organisation with dedicated teams for different things and in this case they're two entirely separate things. This is taking way longer than it should, way longer than we'd expect it to, and that is worrying. Where would this dedicated team dealing with project restart have come from? I doubt they have teams just sitting there in case of once in a generation pandemics. More likely the team would have been sourced from other departments. Plus they may have people off work etc. Not saying that is the case, but it's not improbable.
-
Why do people think they are delaying? What benefit is there for them to take their time, other than to make sure they do a good job? They're going to come under significant scrutiny either way so I daresay they're taking as much time as they need.
-
People also have to understand that the Premier League isn't a criminal court and they won't need absolute proof. Even a civil court is on the balance of probabilities and they might not even have to be as resolute as that...who knows? Likewise, they might not have to reject on either basis anyway.

Love the way he can't take his eyes off mobile scat sites even mid rant
-
They rave that we can't take 6 in a row away from them, completely oblivious to the fact that the reason we can't is because they're in the 3rd fucking division. It's a classic pyrrhic victory.
-
Yeah, assuming the human rights issues have no impact on the D&O tests, which it appears they don't, doesn't mean they aren't going to discuss it afterwards with any interested parties. He may just be referring to these conversations....there is already talk of them tweaking the tests going forward.

I wouldn't read too much in to it. i think he may have just been hammering the confidential point and to be fair if he'd used the past tense it might have been seen as accepting it had been dealt with.
-
With London having Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham, its hard for any one of them to have a special feel about them and none of them really eclipse the others totally. You talk about he North East and it's only really us with that presence and where that's been nothing to really cheer about last 10 years, we're going to be absolutely giant within a couple of years.

I wish your face was silent

I'll go with the latter I think. How can he possibly stress the confidentiality around it and then state his direct involvement with the specifics of piracy regarding the bid. If all that was real, you better believe this person is getting a smacked arse right now. "I've done everything to hide my identity" *Uses real name for his Twitter account* Why are you sure that's his real name? He might just be a big fan of Gavin Peacock and Michael Chopra. I'm sure it isn't - just looks a little funny
