Wasn't Verratti's biggest fan tonight, seen him have better game. Was the weak link in midfield. Him, Cavani and Zlatan weren't very good while they were on the pitch. IMO He seems to have split opinion tonight, seen a lot saying he was great and a lot saying he was poor. Not one of his better performances, but still found myself rather impressed with him overall. Some of his passes over the top were excellent, shame none of them came to anything.

Motta, Silva and Lavezzi were incredible. Verratti was great, got caught out a few times, but that comes with his style of play, which is just brilliant to watch at times.

Would absolutely love him here, not going to happen though.

While I would give him the start, can't see many of our management team having the guts to give him a start just yet. Reckon he'll get a few subs appearances during Remy's injury but not much else.

Set up the third goal as well.

While I'd love to keep Cabaye, getting Cabella as a replacement would really soften the blow of losing him.

Can see us losing this, Chamakh probably grabbing a couple.

If I remember correctly, our last 2 home games against Norwich have been pretty poor performances but ended with us winning 1-0, going for the same this season.

My step-dad is a Newcastle fan. While he didn't force Newcastle upon me, he took me to a game and I just fell in love, especially considering it was my first ever game live.

We should be beating them, they have looked decent enough when I've seen them this season, so wouldn't be too shocked if we didn't though.

Fail to see why he is subbed every game. Must be so frustrating.

Not too worried about a couple of poor performances tbh, with him coming in midway through the season and in a partnership with a defender you don't speak the same language as is always going to be difficult, reckon he'll be fantastic next season once he's properly settled in.

Think we need to push him further forward next season, may mean we need to buy another LB sadly though if Haidara is out for a while, the finish today was brilliant, shame that we couldn't get something from the game.

While there is a worry about starting too many new players here, Yanga-M'Biwa must start, its either him or Taylor that should and Taylor fitness is an issue. Pardew will no doubt see it differently and start Williamson though.

Glad he has hit a bit of form. Hope it continues for a while, still room for improvement but really has been much better than last season.

Fell in love with him quite early into his career here. His improvement since he joined is wonderful, from looking pretty shacky at the start of last season to becoming pretty solid towards the end of it, and now is consistently one of our best players. Hope it continues and he can grab a goal or two before the end of the season.

He is quite the talent, hope we go for him.

Van Wolfswinkel scored a hat-trick against Braga yesterday Really hope a PL team go for him, not Liverpool though.

Out of our starting 11, I can only see Simpson and Ba leaving. Still a great chance Ba will stay though, but can't see anyone else wanting to leave. Tiote/Cabaye to Man United is the only one I can see making sense since their midfield is weak, but just can't see it happening.

Wish I could get tickets to this, but sadly can't. Having a few mates round mine instead and having 3 or 4 streams up of different games.
