Think this will be his last job to be honest - he knows he isn't getting a really big gig anymore and it looks like his heart isn't really in it, think he'll retire once the mackems finally pull the plug.
-
By Monday our injuries should amount to Cabaye, Ryan Taylor, Vuckic and Steven Taylor and Gosling. Yep, only 2 first choices in there too, and they're missing Ruiz and Davies so pretty much even on that score - don't think the injuries excuse can be applied for this one....
-
By the way, if West Ham fans were to come on here to find our views on Allardyce they would be opening their wrists 5 minutes in.
-
I think the knee thing is a big issue, clubs will be worried if they can't get insurance and it goes pop 12 months into a 4 year contract they'll be stuck paying him 3 years for nothing.
-
Then he needs to wake the f*** up. Again... Yeah. Stupid theoretical Pards.
-
Do they play a 4-4-2? He might be tempted to match up against them which will mean hoooooooof. Looks like they've been playing Berbatov and Petric up top - Berba likes to come deep though so would imagine he'll make up a 5 in there when they're defending.
-
Was pretty much expecting a beating here, but just had a look at the expected teams and their midfield is: Richardson - Sidwell - Diarra - Duff I mean Berbatov is quality obviously, but if we can't overcome a team that middle 4 it's a bit of a shocker.
-
I note I voted 12-15 million on this poll (what can i say? End of transfer window anxiety was setting in!) think I would be revising that seriously downwards if it was reset....
-
Looks about right, should be strong enough to give them a game. Would imagine Anita, Marv and Perch would be top candidates to get subbed off after 60 minutes or so.
-
Away from home and against 11 men, if he were to start, I think its more likely Pardew would sacrifice Cisse to accommodate him. Yeah that makes sense: Tiote - Anita HBA - Marv - Jonas Ba Opens up the intriguing possibility of using Perch in defence too....
-
Pardew said he should be OK for Fulham.
-
What on earth has happened to Jonas? He's only 29, his legs shouldn't be anywhere near gone yet but he looks absolutely shot. Hopefully just a confidence issue making it look worse...
-
Has to be this, absolutely has to be.
-
Diame is a beast - totally changed that game.
-
Agreed, some ludicrous suggestions being made. Di Matteo is another I have absolutely no time for.
-
Aye - bit OTT some of the stuff on here tonight. Understandable to be disappointed with the result but think it's important to acknowledge a decent performance in very difficult circumstances.
-
Think tonight proved he hasn't lost the dressing room - thought everyone out there was giving it their all. Still think he'll turn it around, but we desperately need a result on Monday - hope HBA is back for that one.
-
Probably the last time we tried it
-
Aye, he's getting ripped for something he didn't actually say, its like Obama and the whole "you didn't build that" fiasco.
-
Well apart from anything else if Williamson is out we'll need to rethink our whole corner routine....
-
I'm currently in the still supporting him camp, think he's bought time with last season's over-achievement and the injuries are a significant factor IMO. Can see where people are coming from on the "doesn't seem to be learning" front though - if he starts Ba and Cisse up front in a flat 4-4-2 Wednesday night I think I might cry a little bit.

Stoke City vs. Newcastle United - 28/11/12 @ 7.45pm (No TV)

If Obertan is back: Santon - Williamson - Colo - Jonas Tiote - Perch Anita Obertan - Ba - Fergie/Sammy/Marveaux (rock - paper - scissors to decide) Might make a difference having only 1 defender who treats the ball like a recently-unpinned hand grenade. -
