Fuck me that was poor. Actually started out reasonably promising but by the end I was bored shitless.
-
Worryingly thin on the ground for this like - probably looking at a midfield of Obertan - Tiote - Anita - Jonas with Ba and Shola up front....
-
Definitely - we're going to have to tinker with the formation with Cabaye out, so hopefully this works tonight and we can take it into the league.

I think that's just human nature to be honest. I can sympathise because I'm terrible at it myself - if anyone criticises this post for instance I'm liable to have a right strop. Or maybe sulk. s*** poster. fyp http://www.deviantart.com/download/130632890/Screw_you_guys_I__m_going_home_by_h4X0ry0uL34.jpg

To be fair it is a football discussion forum - take away the pointless dissections and this place would be pretty darn quiet.

We could certainly use some more penetration from them.

He's still got a heck of a lot of credit in the bank with me for the 5th place finish and manager of the year performance - suffering badly from not being able to get our best players all on the pitch together which unfortunately with Cabaye out for the rest of the year then Tiote off to the ACON looks like it'll be the case for much of the forseeable future. Think the lack of game prep time due to Europa matches is a bigger factor than he realised it would be too. The January window is huge - 2 or 3 decent signings and the season can still be salvaged, another cockup like the summer and the season will be a pretty much a write-off, which will be incredibly frustrating when you think of the momentum lost.

Still haven't won a game against 11 men since March....
-
So of all the players who pulled out there's only Cisse they've done this to? Cunts, hope he retires from internationals.
-
They've both has the same lenght of time to learn how to manage, the only benefit for Moyes is that he's had more stability to get players to settle in and play the way that he wants. That and he probably has more say in who comes into the club butour players aren't our problem anyway so that one goes out of the window. Stability is by far my biggest concern right now to be honest. I'm so very tired of the managerial merry-go-round ( ), Pardew has got us to 5th place last season, it's enough evidence for me to want him for the next couple of years no matter what. Aye - a (completely unexpected) 5th place finish and manager of the year has to buy you more than 11 games of the next season. No doubting there's some problems at the moment but nothing insurmountable. Tiote/Cabaye axis back, half decent performance and ideally a couple of goals for Cisse on Saturday and all will be well with the world again.

Newcastle United v West Ham United - 11/11/12 @ 3pm

More aerial presence against their big lads I reckon -
Seriously, wtf happened to Villa? They used to have a really decent squad, now I don't even recognise half their players.
-
Draw would do I reckon.
-
Everton have been really poor since Mirallas went off. mackems defending very deep and breaking in numbers - classic marty party style.
-
Getting better every game - was a key player for a very good Ajax side, once he settles he'll be a real asset.
-
Looks like moving to sunderland has finished Adam Johnson's international career.

There's a streaming webcam in Market Square if anyone wants to try spot their mates: http://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/belgique/flandres/bruges/markt.html -
Aye, looks a lot more settled in that defensive role where he can sit deep and keep it simple, feeling a lot better about him as cover for Tiote after that performance.

Don't think Anita will play, we'll need him for Saturday. -
And how can that, in anyway, be a good thing? In that kind of game. When we sit deep. He was controlling Sterling much better than Anita. Exactly. His defensive positional awareness is probably his biggest strength.
