It's going to be a typically agricultural approach from Allardyce and it will cause us all kinds of problems - we desperately need an aerially dominant centre half.
  2. Good to see Dummett in, Redmond is their biggest threat and he's our best defensive LB imo.
  3. Happy enough with that lineup, decent options on the bench too.
  4. Colback will definitely be in there, so swap him for Cisse, stick Wijnaldum left and Perez up top and I reckon that might be it.

The Norwich game is absolutely huge for him, win that and we're back in touch with half a dozen other teams with a decent run of fixtures to come. Lose, especially with another gutless performance, and we're utterly fucked.

I just caught the last 15 minutes, was exactly as you would expect from an Allardyce team chasing a game, lumping it long and trying to pick up scraps. Didn't really look like creating anything.
  7. Bet it was the petty fuckers at the club reported it

You're right like, I previously thought he was doing a reasonable job at keeping things calm despite the poor results but now it looks like he might actually be broken already. Think he's a manager of limited ability who could probably do a half decent job in a well run, professional setup but has seriously underestimated the scale of the clusterfuck he was walking into.
  9. From The Mail: Sportsmail understands he has made a claim under the 2010 Equality Act, which relates to discrimination against employees because of mental or physical disability.
  10. Good lad. Anything that shows those cunts up as the hypocritical, lying pieces of shite they are is a very good thing.
  11. Physioroom has Janmaat, Obertan, Colback, Aarons, Haidara, Dummett, Riviere and Marveaux all due back for this weekend's game by the way - changes the picture somewhat!
  12. About the same ratio as the 15 in 8 Krul has shipped this season tbf.
  13. Rob Elliot obviously isn't up to Krul's level but I can't remember him having any Alnwick-style shockers so things shouldn't get quite as desperate as last year. Small bonus that we can at least expect some better distribution.
  14. Pretty thorough assassination of Tim Sherwood here: http://www.football365.com/news/is-he-a-good-manager-is-he-a-manager Looks certain at least one of us, Villa and the mackems will be through the trapdoor this season, could make getting back up a lot harder if we all go.
  15. Annoying that these lot keep getting some hope to cling onto. Will probably come to nothing but what I wouldn't give for just a little taste of hope every once in a while.
  16. He dislocated his shoulder falling awkwardly. Not sure what that has to do with injury proneness. This sounds like a nasty knee injury either landing badly or twisting with his studs in the ground. http://i.imgur.com/agwSv4P.png He has missed a fair bit of games through injuries the past few seasons. You don't see many other GKs out of that number of games being crocked. He must hate the 10th October.

They probably have a slightly better chance of staying up now, but at what cost? Staying up is now the ceiling of their ambition, at the cost of eye-bleedingly terrible, negative, anti-football. Think I would rather just go down and have done with it. Also worth pointing out that he only won 3 of his last 21 games at West Ham, it's not a given that he'll automatically make them better.
  18. Might be a bit better now we have Mitrovic to attack them. Big problem we've had is that we just don't have any aerially dominant players. Even Pardew has got Palace scoring plenty from set pieces this year, but it helps having 2 giant centre backs to aim for.

The timing is terrible really - any new manager coming in knows he can't get any new players in for another 3 months by which time they could well be already down. They've got a tough run of fixtures between now and then as well - Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton all to play. Don't think Allardyce will want to run the risk to his reputation.
  21. Tiote is limited but when we've got used to seeing the likes of Ryan Taylor and Gouffran in centre midfield it will be a big relief to have him back.

It'll be hilarious if they go for Allardyce and he takes them down. Less so if we give them another 6 points and go down with them.

He's tried that a few times already - they don't seem to be taking the hint.

And be replaced by who? And who will be making the replacement decisions, being as they're the entirety of our board management team? We're a shambles from top to bottom, and the only way that changes is to get rid of the fat mess at the very top.
