Find fleeting thoughts coming into my head almost every game now which say I hope we battered. Hate myself for it but its the only way anything will ever change, Pardew wise. And even then I'm not confident. Hate what Ashley has done to this club, all the lads are at the game today and I chose to stay home. Unlike me.

I deeply hope they go down mind, fuck the derbies our manager bottles them anyway, the only pleasure we can get at their expensive would be to see them plummet.
-
They still have City, Spurs, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool to play
-
Going backwards at an alarming rate.
-
Well at least when Pards' is banned we will have someone cool, calm and collected on the touchline to run things for a while...

Bang on that. Great post.

If they lose the final and go down they will not have had a better season than us. I still fear that they will both win the final and stay up, but at the moment I would say the odds of that are fairly short. Yeah in that case definitely not, but should they manage to stay up and even be runners up one of the cup finals I would still consider that a better season than us. I think they will push on next season aswell if they do beat the drop, just hope they spunk their money on absolute dross like they always do. Edit: Yes I'm aware they are already guaranteed runners up

Don't really feel like laughing at Sunderland anymore, they've arguably had a better season than us truth be told, brought in a good manager, in a cup final with a possible other cup final on the way, two derby wins and starting to beat the teams around them, will stay up IMO.

Feelings about Pardew to one side (I fucking hate the useless nee top lipped cunt) I just cant see him getting rid of Pardew, the facts are that Ashley doesn't care about how well the club does, has no ambition and the aim seems to be just to float around mid table and stay away from trouble and basically we are safe, and in Pardew, Ashley has a front man who he knows will do anything he says, will kick up little fuss when good players are sold and who is probably just about a good enough manager to keep us in the premier league but not good enough to take us to the next level or win a cup. Suits him down to the ground, doesn't need to invest a penny aslong as we stay up and he re-coups his money every season. This wont be true.

Mate has just said this regarding Pardew: "Problem is though, without the board getting involved in first team affairs, pardew is a good manager and gets results. As soon as someone gets involved, ie the removal of cabaye, pardew and the players buckle under the pressure. Players in the team excel when the whole team excels. And the negative effect is that pardew and the players fail when the going gets tough. The players are heartless, pardew doesnt know what to do and it becomes a disaster" Interested to hear what you lot think of that. I personally feel that the sign of a good manager is being able to motivate and organise his team when the chips are down, not just when we are going through a good patch and players are in form, if he can't do both then how can he be a good manager?

Squeak a 1-0 or 2-1, all is forgiven, "pards give us a wave" etc etc etc..... 52k for following home game. -
Looks really promising until the time it actually comes to do something with the ball, be it an assist or a goal.
-
Can't remember saying he shouldn't play like but aye.
-
Looks honestly decent IMO but he will never be able to make an impact in this abortion of a team with an abortion of a manager. Will more than likely notch 1-2 goals before the end of the season and we'll send him packing.
-
Is yet another spineless, nothing player. Looked head and shoulders above the rest because he was fresh off the bench and can pass the ball better than Moussa Sissoko, which tbh I could do on a fistful of cowies.
-
Haidara should have took over his position about 15 games ago tbh.
-
Waste of space in a Pardew team, our lack of attacking intent means hes completely doubled/trebled up on every time he attempts to go on a run and is having to come way too deep to collect the ball therefore when he does lose the ball its more costly. Add that on top of the fact I think he looks to have lost confidence due to being benched for so long and not in the greatest shape means hes as much use as a nuns snatch.

Aye but we'll squeak a 2-1 against Villa and they will be asking him for a wave. -

0-2 defeat. -
I wrote him off too early admittedly because of his second name but hes winning me over, quick, skillful, direct but really needs to work on his end product, as does every other fucker in this team, not one of them can cross a ball, coaching issues? Surely not.
