When the camera panned over to him today and he looked utterly defeated I knew we wouldn't win another game this season, and would bet big money that we won't.
-
I can't even believe what I've just read there. He did a canny job today then you thought? The players just made us look a bit of a mess with the way they played? That was our heaviest home defeat since 1925, 2 weeks ago we had by far the most humiliating result in the time I've been supporting the club, don't know about you. But nah, he's doing OK, the players just aren't organised enough or something. Are you taking the mick or what? Baffling isn't it

Fucking sick of people saying "we might aswell keep him because we wont get any bettter" Its not OUR job to KNOW as fans who is good enough out there to replace Pardew but there IS better and we as a team DESERVE better. He needs to go and theres 100's of managers who will want the job, its up to us at board level, if they actually care about the club progressing to find him. Fans expectations have been lowered by the board so substantially that we should be happy with medicore managers and performances, citing the reason that we were in the championship a few seasons ago, who gives a FUCK, we have a great team on paper and we need a good manager who can bring good performances to take us forward.

I'm absolutely furious with this lineup and even more furious with the fact we are all shitting ourselves because WIGAN are winning and that could mean we end up going down. I hate this twat and what hes done to us. He NEEDS to go. -
Wigan are going to stay up aren't they :'(

I'm sure the coach issue was something he was supposed to deal with at the end of last season, didn't he mention bringing in a set piece specialist to work on corners etc... We need to look at conditioning above all else in my opinion, players look far too leggy after 60 minutes for it just to be the Europe excuse, not to mention the injuries.

Seems such a down to earth bloke, which as we know is a rarity these days, I really hope we can stay up this season and see him flourish like he did in his first season, definitely the sort of character we want in our team.

Steven Taylor for me, has put in some cracking performances this season in certain games. Young player has to be Bigi, which is probably why Pardew has Gosling in the squad ahead of him

I would swap Cabaye for Sissoko and Anita for Gutierrez. -

This will be the first game I've missed this season, debating whether to ask my mate for text updates or just turn my phone off until its all over and hopefully be pleasantly surprised. Ideally would like to wait for MOTD but I would probably explode. -

Would bet my house on the fact that Shola starts the game. (If Cisse doesn't make it) -
I read all of that and it turned out to be a complete waste of time. Pointless waffle for the most part. I secretly thought this too but I'm not a heartless bastard, the time and effort of the post could have been said in 4 words "I'm on the fence"
-
Would happily see him in the side ahead of Anita, Perch, Tiote and even Sissoko at the moment.

Elliot Debuchy Taylor M'biwa Haidara Cabaye Perch Sissoko Marv/HBA Gouffran Cisse 1-1 draw. (Edit, as opposed to a 1-1 win or 1-1 loss ) -
Would probably agree with this to be honest, I wouldn't say he had a particularly "good" game by any stretch but made a lot of clearances when they smashed about 5 corners in a row at us in the final 5 minutes of the game and was always on hand to help Haidara defensively aswell. Attacking wise he was non existant, but you can't slate him for that because that's the way Pardew uses him and a lot of our other attacking outlets throughout the game, you can't have it both ways.
-
Would take him back personally if he was willing to play his old role as bit part player.
-
Think hes a cocky twat to be honest, tried to score the goal in the way it would look the most attractive rather than playing it safe and slotting it in.
-
Think Anita is being a little bit romanticized on here by some, he wouldn't have been anywhere near my starting lineup in recent games because he hasn't had a single game where hes looked decent in midfield IMO, I understand that the way Pardew plays stifles players with the technical qualities he has but almost every other player has shown at least something to suggest they are good players, I think Anita is just one of those signings that doesn't work out and isn't cut out for the premier league. I hope I'm wrong and another manager comes in and unlocks his potential but at the moment I don't see any, certainly not in this league.
-
IF we stay up and IF we get a new manager I think he will flourish next season, has looked better and better since arriving.
-
Completely lost his marker for their goal and was turned inside out on several occasions. 6/10 at best for me.

What about Ba's handball at Reading earlier in the season? And Everton's perfectly legal disallowed goal at their place?
