Thought he did well, and would definitely like to see more of him but fully expect to never see him play any more minutes for us if Rafas handling of Murphy is anything to go by.

Anything less than a 3-0 win for Chelsea is embarrassing for them, they should be taking us apart with the squad we have to pick from, midfield two of Hayden and Longstaff man -
Aye, that too.

Whats he got to lose now ? Maybe he thinks saying nothing could be the difference between a net spend of -5 million and +5 million I don't really know, perhaps hes been promised funds and is waiting to see before completely burning his bridges.
-
Tricky one really, I don't rate him at the moment, but you could say being dropped every time he contributes something is hampering his development and confidence, which surely is a no no for a young player, he isn't being managed well at the end of the day, I know its hard for some to hear but I don't see how anyone could see otherwise.

He will probably be a bit more aggressive towards the hierarchy once this transfer window has closed, he will have nothing to lose.

We did play well and we had a game plan that wasn't a million miles away from working, however why did we wait till we were 2-0 down to make an offensive change? As soon as we went 1-0 down or even at 0-0 we need to be taking a chance and getting say Muto on for Perez, or better yet just leave Perez out and start with Muto for once, we have to try something new or we're never going to score goals, since signings are off the table.

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

Hes absolutely shite but doesn't deserve to be booed like, does try most of the time just don't think hes a number 10, scored the most goals for us playing up front and looks most comfortable there. -

Drops out best goalscorer against the best team in the league for Joselu... come on man. -
Its perfectly reasonable to love what hes about, think hes the right man but still question some of his tactics and decisions, this is what people don't understand its either one extreme or another on here, I'm firmly in the camp of being a big fan of Rafa but I think he has made mistakes and needs to put things right, like the way we approach home games, and using the squad a bit more, such as Muto... and managing certain players better i.e Murphy. That doesn't mean I or anybody else is "slagging him off" its just an opinion up for debate like anything else on here regarding the club, sometimes its like a cult and you can't say anything without being shot down as a Rafa hater or Ashley sympathizer, some of our fans really need to chill out. Hes not perfect, he is and has made mistakes and it's OK to talk about it and still like him at the same time.

"I suspect Rafa is too afraid of getting the team to attack because on the one hand our attacking quality is so low that we're not likely to make use of more numbers getting forward, and on the other hand if we open up we leave ourselves exposed to counter attacks. Combine the two (shiite attack, open defense) and it's high risk to go gung ho be a bit more ambitious at home." Happy? Nobody can make excuses for having no shots on target at home against the worse defence in the league - 7 points out of 27 prove it's not working something has to change either the way we play or replacing personnel who are fixtures in the team despite offering virtually nothing. Was it high risk last year when we competed with Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea by taking a more ambitious approach in those games - were we gung ho then? Bang on.
