Has played well for a while now and has definitely been HOWED, would be happy for him to stay on for squad depth but I still really hope we get an RW with more threat and output before the window closes. One of our hardest working players Almiron but he's never going to have that extra bit of quality IMO.

I'm very proud of my team tonight, they gave it absolutely everything and in the end there's a tinge of disappointment we didn't come away with all 3 points, that's how far we've come and that's credit to Howe and the team. There's a real steely determination and togetherness about this squad that I've not seen here for a very very long time and if we can just get a couple more through the door we could really make a play for 6th this season or next. Trippiers free kick was utter filth too!

This man can not be dropped. For the moment Botman shouldnt be starting over him when Targett is back, he's just too valuable to us at the back, two more last ditch blocks today. Botman had a good game though don't get me wrong.

He's superb, but sometimes he thinks he's still in ligue 1 with the the amount of time he wants on the ball, I think it could take him a while to fully acclimatise to the pace of the game over here.

As has been said in the grand scheme it's a very respectable away point against a good side. Just hope we can really put in a performance against City and not getting cunted for once.

Just noticed Fraser was injured today so we lacked options, but I honestly think even Ritchie could contribute more, he at least has a better delivery.

On a random note I'm getting a little worried about Trippier, thought he was quite poor first half off against Forest and was rinsed all afternoon today and looked off the pace compared to last season. Hopefully just a bit of a dip. Literally my favourite player at the club.

We really need some attacking reinforcements before the window closes though, I thought even though Miggy looked very sharp at times he's never going to be what we hope he can be in terms of output, same for Maxi, who IMO is a poor footballer who's a very talented dribbler. Willock was absolutely pointless today as the more advanced of the midfield three, just doesnt have the quality to consistently influence games, the Maddison signing was exactly what we needed IMO. Edit: Nick Pope MOTM, two outstanding saves and definitely the correct choice for No1. Dan Burn should not be dropped once Targett is fit he should start ahead even if it's ahead of Botman. (Who had a decent full debut today too)
