Tbh it took me a good few hours of watching to actually realise he was acting on behalf of the PL. I thought he was the actual judge at first outlining the case details. So much diterhing about and saying the same thing over and over again. After watching our QC for 20 mins the difference in preparation was light and day. Obviously that doesn't mean fuck all in the result but if someone like me with zero expertise picks up on how bad he came across that's not a good look for the PL trying to get the result they want.

Exactly why they didn't officially reject it. I don't think the PL rule book states a takeover can be rejected because our major money whoring media partners don't like it.

I think so. I'm sure the exclusivity period has ended (hence talk of Ashley keeping the deposit) so he's free to accept any new deal. However I do think a golden handshake has been made to the PIF deal as maybe Ashley knows getting in with them could help his empire massively.

I wonder if the other bids are a bit of a smokescreen to aid the proof that the value has dropped. Get a few bussiness mates to put some low ball bids in and say to the court "look this is what it's worth now, we've lost out on millions!" I mean any decent bid and Ashley would snap their hand off at the minute regardless of who it's from right?

Yep think we have that won. The fact the judge nearly pissed himself when the PL said they wanted it delayed because they can't prepare for two cases (CAT and Arb) before January gave a bit away imo

Honestly after everything we've known and read/heard over the last year, when you look at the bigger picture the PL have undoubtedly acted in the wrong and deserve to lose this entire case. We just want a sale of the club. They have done everything possible to scupper that.
