Ok I'll bite. Big money signings are garbage - He didn't have any big money, any signings he made were made on a shoestring budget and were about 6th or 7th on his wanted list. Football played under him was dreadful - What choice did he have? Attack teams with a championship squad or sit tight, organized and play counter attacking football, it may have been dreadful but it worked and you knew we were in safe hands and very unlikely to get a hiding against man city etc every time we played them. You wouldn't want him back here? Does that mean you prefer Bruce?

I think we will. Its obvious the big 6 and BEIN stuck their nose in, which means somewhere along the line the PL didn't do things by the book.

What that Saka challenge? It was a huge moment as Saka was away and we had them outnumbered on the counter. Worst case scenario we would have had a shot on target, but there was every chance someone would have won us the European Championships with the last kick of the game making themselves a legend of English football. But Chiellini pulling Saka by the scruff of the neck stops all that and ends up with him lifting the trophy.

Dumfries should be in instead of Walker. He was superb and had so much energy.

So this squad has the possibility to play in the World Cup and the next Euros, that's very promising. Add to that the emergence of other players (willock anyone?!) and we can only get stronger and more experienced. It's a great time to be an England fan after so many years of disappointments. Also I can't think of many other nations who are similar to us in regards to our squad, most seem to be getting weaker as their top players get older or at least staying at the same level. Southgate certainly isn't a Pep or Sir Alex, but I do think he's a really good fit for this England team.

I can see why people boo the other anthem tbh, make it as hostile as possible for the opposing team when you're at home. Do they hand out fines when people boo and whistle while the away team are in possession? Or when players cup their ear and celebrate in front of the other teams fans I'm pretty sure our anthem was booed in France, Germany, Russia etc. Football is getting so bloody soft man.

But that's the thing, the PL are the ones making the takeover decision and abiding by their own rules that they set out. If they aren't 100% confident in their own decisions then that's a serious problem for them. The buyers are 100% confident that they've done everything by the book, yet the PL can't find a valid reason to reject it.

I'm confident, albeit it quietly. One of the main reasons is the PL trying their best to drag it out, even the legal matters. This indicates to me that its their only hope, if they had everything needed to lawfully stop it, then I think it would have been all over by now.

If it was seperation/piracy then surely it would have been officially rejected. Maybe piracy or seperation wasn't ever an issue. Maybe it was simply the PL were told by the big 6 that under no uncertain terms must they approve this deal. Who would have thought (cue the PL telling Jacobs "its a piracy issue" )

To be fair it did go quiet for a long while when everyone was trying to find out about arbitration. Either all this noise is now because it's just about done and dusted or something something not as positive.

It does seem strange considering she has previously said she can't say anything due to an NDA. Does she simply not give a shit anymore (which is a risk as she could be sued) or has she been given the all clear from lawyers to speak about it, in which case surely that would only be once an agreement has been reached?
