  1. As with so many things the club does, penny wise pound foolish.
  2. Oh well if Jason Puncheon said it it must be true.
  3. Thing is, he's doing exactly what the owner wants him to, so he'll survive it for longer than any other. The grief he's already had, combined with his absolute dog s*** approach and s*** record here still only resulted in yet another bull s*** 'end of season review' which probably didn't even happen. It'll take another relegation battle for it to even be contemplated imo. Except when he is in the shit he gets worse. We wouldn't pick up points so he wouldn't be doing what the owner wants. Also I think I'd get sick of turning up every week and getting dogs abuse from thousands of people.
  4. Sustained fan pressure would have Pardew out. Has an NUFC manager in recent memory survived it?
  5. He's better than that. Though hopefully he can be the catalyst for a manager resignation like wor Nacho.
  6. Scored our last two goals. I'm sure having Colback here helped him settle.
  7. United's reserves gifted the Royals a two goal start on Monday, before a hat trick from Adam Armstrong, one from Sammy Ameobi and a beauty from Hatem Ben Arfa gave the watching Alan Pardew food for thought. A sunny afternoon at Whitley Park found the visitors in equally bright form and they were quickly two goals to the good through Rob Dicke and Conor Shaughnessy. As was the case against Bolton in a season-opening 3-3 draw last week, United's solution to their defensive woes was to go on the offensive, Ben Arfa finding Armstrong to halve the arrears. And it was soon 2-2, as Sammy Ameobi headed in from Hatem's corner for a second goal in as many U21 games. Into the second half and Gael Bigirimana rattled the woodwork, Armstrong got his second of the game and Ameobi hit a post as the Royals were rocked. The goal of the game then saw Ben Arfa waltz past four players for his first competitive striker since a penalty conversion at Crystal Palace back in December 2013. A solo effort from Armstrong then completed his hat-trick, rounding off a resounding win for Peter Beardsley's side. The Ben Arfa/Che Guevara banner sighted at Anfield last May did appear for a time, before stewards demanded that it be removed. Left wing hero to some, egotist to others From .com
  8. Slim you hero. Glad you got to meet him and get a bunch of memories, richly earned.
  9. Fair play that's quality. Top work to those involved.
  10. f*** knows what that makes Barnsley (who whacked them 4-1 yesterday) then. Every single game we play is 'tough'. It's ridiculous. The thing is though every single game we seem to play is tough. Every game is tough when you're as s*** as we are. We could draw Parkside MENCAP in the cup and this c*** would be saying how tough it would be to beat them That's what I was getting at

  12. Maybe it was just an ordinary helicopter bundling someone into the back of a black van.
  13. All this blood on his hands yet still has a soul. Harrowing. Also HV was a card carrying WUM. Seem's silly that he'd throw a tizzy and disappear when his MO was just to annoy people.
  14. Could also be the run that finishes us though.
