  1. This was a really hard game, particularly for a side that haven’t played together. I think it’s very impressive how we came through it. To go an early goal down, control the game and then concede to a wonder goal before half time. Really resilient performance against a very confident team, with a hostile atmosphere and dismal conditions.
  2. He’s good fun. Also some real variety to his wide play.
  3. We have everything necessary to be a very good cup team. I think we will go with a strong squad. Really shouldn't be throwing away opportunities to win something.
  4. His movement is just incredible. Guys a genius.
  5. He wasn’t stretchered off or anything. Hopefully just precautionary.
  6. Get back on page 1. Mods sticky this thread. They should have sent a poet.
  7. Congratulations Sandro, you’re hepatitis A.
  8. Man United are being expertly ran by the Glazers. Both Liverpool and City are bigger clubs, Liverpool historically and City contemporaneously. Froggy, do not post for 24 hours if you agree.
  9. When we end up flipping the Serb, the Georgian, the Spaniard and the Turk for £120,000,000 we might be able to improve the first team squad.
  10. I stopped following him after he got the Wijnaldum deal all wrong.
  11. The Turkish guy has 1.7m followers.
  12. Didn't look particularly enthused when the idea of a new contract was floated.
  13. It was a general point mate not specific to you. I think some of it is pent up frustration with PSR and the ceiling it’s created. We’re a good team with good players and we win more often than not. Everyone is happy that a player is leaving. To my mind that demonstrates everything about the virtues of Almiron relative to where we want to be.
  14. Also exonerates the decision makers at the club. The Charlotte offer that we should have accepted was less than this one.
  15. It’s just so gratuitous. There’s so much negativity on here. Joyless support at times.
  16. Anyway he was a huge part of our qualification for the CL. Question the mentality of those shitting on his limitations. Everyone knows.
  17. When he came we were a shithouse operation. Now we’re good. Thanks for being part of the journey Miguel. A player I’ll always remember fondly.
  18. I feel like the chances he misses are because he's usually trying to do something different when he's through on goal. Whether that's to keep goalkeepers guessing all the time or just because he likes the challenge it's hard to know, probably both. He's actually exceptionally good at using his first touch to move the ball into the perfect position for the finish. He scored at the gallowgate in open play the other week and sent the keeper the wrong way, there was no need for him to do this at all.
  19. Said it before and I’ll say it again. If that goal was scored by one of the sky six then it would be called the greatest goal in the premier league.
