  1. Should have made subs before half time. The side that were out there dealt werll with the threat and Chelsea's best chances in the second half came after the subs.
  2. Pfft, it's good in the way of perfect stuff. Thank fuck we have a manager who is able to challenge these teams. It's taken an inch perfect free kick from 30 yards and a defensive slip. Teams are going to have spells in games particularly with Chelsea's quality who only had Caicedo from their midweek game. It was the tempo that needed slowing down much more than personnel changes as we allowed the game to become too open. If players had finished the chances they had nobody even says shit about the manager. It's just asinine.
  3. If people are blaming the manager for that result then they are thick as castle walls.
  4. He wasn't helped by there being nothing on for him when he was caught in possession.
  5. Just for my understanding would you also advocate us winning more games?
  6. I broke a rib in the first 5 minutes of an 11’s game and played the full 90. After the game and for weeks I was in bits, during the game didn’t really bother me and i wouldnt have thought I’d done anything. Gave him some time to see how he was then took him off when it was clear it wasn’t going to be possible to play on. Hardly Botman’s knee.
  7. I think the players aren’t doing him many favours, not anywhere near the downed tools stage just some of the things they struggle to execute in game. Classic example today was about 20 minutes in Gordon is in acres and yet elanga plays the ball to Woltemade who then tried to play a return to Elanga. Exactly like the first half against Marseille when players struggle to play a ball through and if they’d have done so we’d have been in on goal a fair few times. Similarly you can’t legislate for your centre forward scoring that OG. The cards we have in the deck don’t give me lots of hope (save for Wissa). We have too many games for our most important players to get much of a rest and I’m not sure we’ll do much more than splutter through the league campaign as a consequence. wish our wide forwards were narrower, other than that don’t see a lot you can do with the midfield beyond personnel changes at the moment.
  8. Poor quality game, they nullified us. Our best players look knackered and we’re not as good as we have been.
  9. It’s always going to be negotiation strategy
  10. It’s what happens when Villa do well.
  11. People look at Billy’s minutes when Wissa was out and think a third striker is likely? Don’t see it myself.
  12. Annoying, I’d back us to win, but if we do we’re taking out a team whose capable of taking out a good outfit.
  13. It also explains why these moves appeal to players. Liverpool have been terrible and yet they sit a point above us.
  14. Definitely want to see it at some point. Wissa was looking to move between the two centre halves on the shoulder. Wolt often drops deeper. Wolt also has a superb weight of pace and ability to pick a pass in contested areas. Could be fun.
  15. I’d have loved that giant Georgian. Think he would have been perfect for the new trend of obstructing keepers.
