  1. We have a lot of players who aren’t at this level.
  2. Adam Campbell. Remember watching him in pre-season at Cardiff and he was the best player on the pitch. Just looked so natural.
  3. Generally our team is hard working rather than high talent. When the team is no longer able to work hard it shows. An exhausted Almiron, offers less than a fresh almiron and a fresh Almiron doesn't offer loads. It's his inability to impact on the final third that lets him down. Beyond that he is a fantastic player to have. I actually think he could be kept as a CL squad player.
  4. Intensity hasn’t been our identity of late. We were so pedestrian today. Think a lot of players are playing too much when not fit or returning from injury.
  5. Think a lot of what we have has taken us as far as it can. Not the manager I hasten to add.
  6. We don’t seem to have any players (Isak aside) who hurt opposition teams.
  7. Has there been a greater cultural assassin than Swedish Chef? All I think of with Sweden.
  8. It's a shame to be out of Europe but it's also a good stock taking opportunity. We are very much a club in transistion. Look at the quality of players that have been brought in since the takeover. Isak, Bruno, Livramento, Hall, Gordon, Pope, Tonali, Minteh, Botman - All good enough (maybe not right now but in terms of ability) to make an impact at this level. I haven't included Trippier because he is a player for the transistion not the future. Of the pre-takeover players i'd suggest it's only Joelinton who is capable of making an impact at this level going forwards and even then he blows hot and cold. It will take a few more windows to move away from the pre-takeover players, but you can really see the foundation is starting to shape very nicely.
