I think we are trying to assemble a football club rather than an expensively assembled squad too. There's long term thinking now, which it is hard to argue has been present at Everton for years.

I mean it just shows how far things have come in such a short period of time. We could not sign anyone else, finish midtable and the progress we have made since this time last year would be immeasurable. I think we will generally be happy with the window at the end of it.
