  1. He was a pretty decent player a few seasons ago but I'm not sure how he has done recently. I wouldn't have thought that he'd be the type of player we would go for but I guess with the contract situation it would make some sense.
  2. To be fair going from £20m for Cabaye to a swap for Ramsey before the goals started would rightly be questioned a little bit angrily He has doubled his career tally this season hasnt he? Think Ramsey sums up why confidence is one of the biggest factors in football. Think Bentdner sums up why confidence isn't one of the biggest factors in football.
  3. GW 15: Man Utd 2-0 Newcastle Crystal Palace 0-0 Cardiff City Liverpool 2-0 West Ham Southampton 1-2 Man City Stoke City 1-2 Chelsea West Brom 1-1 Norwich Sunderland 1-0 Tottenham Fulham 1-0 Aston Villa Arsenal 2-2 Everton Swansea 2-1 Hull City
  4. Wouldn't the money they make only increase the pressure they are under and encourage them to play it safe since they have something to lose?
  5. I don't think you can have Ivory Coast in that senario, unless I'm misunderstanding it. Doesn't the 2nd Euro country replace someone from pot 2?
  6. I can imagine them all sitting outside the door waiting to have their turn to knock on it. No Marveaux? He's probably already gone.. Too bad.
  7. GW14: Crystal Palace 6-6 West Ham Arsenal 3-1 Hull Liverpool 3-1 Norwich Man Utd 2-2 Everton Southampton 1-0 Aston Villa Stoke 0-0 Cardiff Sunderland 1-0 Chelsea Swansea 1-1 Newcastle Fulham 0-2 Tottenham West Brom 1-2 Man City

    Steven Taylor

If his only real asset is that he is from the area then he should be the one to go. However we really shouldn't think about moving him now with Colo wanting out. No chance we buy two CBs unfortunately.
  9. same. take away the spectacular goal and he had one of his best games for us. Loved seeing him go in and shoulder that defender out of the way to win the ball. Good stuff.

    Sunderland

I think the amount of shit teams in this division is going to save them like it saved us last season.
  11. Has worked hard every game since he's been here, nice to see him getting some results. Probably my favorite player at the moment.
  12. Doubt it makes any difference. You'd think anyone coming in would do something anyway, just makes it more attractive to buy surely? Hope so. Either way it's nice to see some investment even if it is a few years away.
  13. Cool. Doesn't sound like Ashley is going to sell anytime soon..
  14. The club was in chaos. God knows what it was like behind the scenes with some of the idiots we had on the team then. Man City were the 'cool' team on the rise with tons of money. Can't really blame him too much. I don't think the switch in goalkeeper was the reason we went down. It's just funny seeing all the players that leave us thinking they are going somewhere better.. A lot of them definitely regret making that choice now. I hope Cabaye is paying attention.
  15. GW13: Aston Villa 1-2 Sunderland Cardiff 1-3 Arsenal Everton 1-1 Stoke Norwich 2-1 Crystal Palace West Ham 0-0 Fulham Newcastle 2-2 West Brom Tottenham 2-2 Man Utd Hull 1-3 Liverpool Chelsea 3-1 Southampton Man City 2-1 Swansea
  16. Would have taken him a few years ago when he was leaving Blackburn but not now. He hasn't had good form or attitude and he has switched clubs 4 times in 2 seasons. He's also probably on crazy wages. Wouldn't go near him, but as others have said buying a tall, physical CB should be on the shopping list.
  17. I hate that we wait till the last possible time to get them out. The first three months of the season have been completely wasted. I guess I shouldn't be surprised..
  18. completely forgot about him, this can only be a good thing. Hope some of the others go as well.
  19. Isn't the deal pending Hodgson's approval, cause Defoe doesn't want to hurt his WC chances? Why would Hodgson ever want him going there.. You'd think he'd have plenty of Premier League clubs interested in him still.
  20. It's just their turn to go through a "crisis", they'll be fine. It was only a few weeks ago that they were having their best ever start in the Premier League. There is still almost no difference between the top 6 clubs.
  21. This. I came on here expecting chaos
  22. Is he even motivated to do a winter loan or is it all just pressure from Klinsmann? It seems weird to make the huge decision to go back home and stop what was a good career in England (for an American) only to return a few months later for a short period of time. It's different from Donovan, he never got the chance to play in the Premier League and wanted to prove that he could. It's not like Dempsey is fighting to make the World Cup squad, you'd figure he'd just want to take it easy and not worry about getting hurt. I'd stay away from him.
  23. Everton 1 - 2 Liverpool Arsenal 1 - 0 Southampton Fulham 1 - 1 Swansea Hull 2 - 1 Crystal Palace Newcastle 1 - 1 Norwich Stoke 1 - 2 Sunderland West Ham 0 - 2 Chelsea Man City 2 - 1 Tottenham Cardiff 1 - 2 Man Utd West Brom 0 - 0 Aston Villa
  24. terrible set of results right now, is the World Cup over yet?
