Barca apparently offering Douglas to clubs for free, is he really that bad that's no clubs are interested in him?
-
What's all this about? http://i.imgur.com/V29j2OH.jpg

Was talking to a Palace fan earlier. Apparently he has done great business for them so far . He stated Cabaye, Souare, Sako and bringing in Zaha permenantley as intelligent business. Also thinks Wickham is a "top" player.
-
I really don't think it's a coincidence that both Wijnaldrum and Perez have totally disappeared when they've been asked to play in front of him on that left hand side. It forces the team to basically attack only down the right, or long ball to Mitrovic. He's a good back up but we need a LB who's comfortable on the ball in the summer.
-
It was massive moment not just in the game but in Mitro's Newcastle career. If he misses that I think he would struggle. Hopefully it's a huge confidence boost, that he can score when needed.

MOTM for me tonight. Bullied an inform Smalling, he really couldn't handle him.

Was watching the Spurs U21 game last night and he was knocking in countless dangerous balls. Obviously it's an U21 game but that shouldn't affect his delievery. He definitely has the ability to cross the ball, it just seems like he can be very selfish. Would rather it was a 6month loan with an option to buy and not sell Sissoko.
-
Townsend with 2 in this U21 game, don't have a clue why it's on sky.
-
I imagine we have shown him our possession and passing stats. There's no doubting he will see a lot more of the ball here compared to Palace.
-
Aren't all shares plummeting at the moment though?
-
As per my earlier posts. As the economy stabilises and starts to rise SportsDirect will start to suffer.
-
Exactly, he was extremely lucky to basically get into the Premier at the exact right time. I'm sure the rumours were that he actually wanted to flip the club quickly but then had to pay of the mortgage so stuck about until he could make his money back. Imagine how much money he would have lost? What about the Andy Carroll sale? Is that genius from Ashley? Or luck that we happended to have the PL man of the moment and Liverpool (with Dalglish in charge) had 50m burning in their pockets. Would we have bought Cabaye, Ba etc without that money? Genuis business from Ashley or taking advantage of being in the right place at the right time.
-
You laugh but if you knew much about business and the economy it honestly is about being in the right place at the right time. Obviously the harder you work and the more intelligent you are the greater chance you have of making it, but do you not think 100s of other people aren't doing exactly that as well? Do you think when Ashley set up his first store he planned the recession? It's no coincidence his value has grown massively since 2007 in so many different ways. He started off with a 10,000 (the equivalent of 31,000 now) loan from his family. How many families do you know will remortgage their house so they can loan their son 31,000 for a new business? To most people the dream would have stopped right there.

Come on! Give the guy at least some credit! He's worth 5.5 BILLION DOLLARS!!!! That's some luck he's got there! I work in Commercial law, so I see a lot of how these people make their money. It's 80% luck and getting in the right circles, 10% hard work and 10% intelligence. People make out these millionaires are superhuman demi-gods but they are just people who were in the right place at the right time. Once you get some decent money behind you (i.e 50million) its probably harder not to make money to be honest.
-
The fundamental things your forgetting is Newcastle is a sports club first and for most. Ashley runs the club like his discount clothes business. I actually don't think Ashley is that succesful at business he has got extremely lucky and was in the right place at the right time.
-
I couldn't care less what he's telling people, judge him by his actions. Did you believe Pardew aswell?
-
So he wants to get into the Europa league, but he's not willing to even spend 10 million extra of Newcastle United money (money self generated through the club) to make 5 times the amount of that in global advertising for his own company? He just wants to survive man. Think about it, what offers more exposure, the Premier league or the Europa league?
-
Garde has confirmed he has talked to Wenger about loaning Debuchy.
-
Just remembered that time near the ticket renewal deadline when that sports direct news site said we were in for Rooney
-
I think he knows more than is let on to be honest. It's just he is happy to cut cost as much as possible to survive. That's how he does business, always has, always will. How many luxury products does Ashley produce? He's abit of a gambler but to get to where he is you need mostly luck more than anything else. Wouldn't surprise if most the logic behind his decisions is that he is a genius business man compared to not knowing much about football. He will run a club cheaply and succeed as he is a genius, is probably what's in his head. How dare the fans question him. You only need to see his interaction with Rangers board members or any media articles that challenge him to see his train of thought.

Can't see Chelsea loaning a player to a team they need to catch like.
-
Isn't he currently injuried anyway?
-
Surely this means the AshleyOut campaign need to focus on getting with his daughter? Who's the best looking?

Got a feeling we will spend 10 million on a striker and bring a winger in on loan. Then claim we need to sell to buy.
