  1. Speaking of stats, I saw a rather intriguing one moments ago... Tonight is the first time that Eddie Howe has taken charge of a game on the 10th of March 2022. #OMEN
  2. A few months ago, we weren't winning games at all. Give Howe some faith.
  3. Decent interview. Says he hasn’t spoken to the players about what went on before he arrived, his mind is on going forward. Said the plan is to stay up, build and build and then go for the title. Spoke highly of Simeone, Howe, Shelvey, Lascelles, Joelinton and ASM. Talked about going into coaching, wants to be around the place as much as he can so his presence is felt in the dressing room. Has a really good professional mindset and comes across really well. Mentioned the players appreciate the work Wood puts in off the ball, believes the goals will come. Believes Howe will be a top manager, he has noticed the changes in him from their time together at Burnley. Said he is tough on the players. Has never seen a player like ASM before. Understands the frustration from the fans when he doesn’t play the pass after doing the hard work. Said if he was interested in the money, he would have stayed at Atletico. Asked about Bruno, says he was aware of him before he signed. Impressive in training and his face lit up when he said he is a “top, top player”.
  4. Thought it was going to take another mistake from us for Brighton to get the equaliser, but defensively we held firm. We gave them every opportunity to try for the equaliser which was very disappointing after a few games now where I've thought our control of a game has been improving. Great 3 points, but that performance in general was a few steps back.
  5. Like Benetiz, I love knowing we have a manager that will already be formulating in his mind what we can improve on. The signings he has made and his own methods have changed the mentality of this team, which after Bunce, is a huge achievement. Looking at our fixtures, I've felt we needed to be safe by the time we play Norwich away. We're doing remarkably well to making that a reality.

I don't believe for one second that he'd even seen the majority of their players play before he took the role. Still cannot get my head around why any professional club, in this day and age, with all the information and statistics to look at, would choose this fucking fraud to lead their club. Literally anybody who had just qualified for their level 5 would be a better option.
  7. Football365 are renowned for not having a clue, aren't they? Not a chance the owners would sit back and hear the fans supporting Howe, the team winning 3 on the bounce, and think Mourinho is the answer. There isn't even a question at the moment.
  8. Krafth is limited, but I feel better knowing he has Trippier and Howe to learn from. Ability wise on the ball, he has his ceiling but he is capable of being a safe third choice option there.
  9. Silenced the doubters. Well done to him and the players who look like they'll run through brick walls for him.
  10. I would think so. Unless he puts Manquillo or Trippier there, which I can't see.

If you take on a job and your role changes to the point that every hope and expectation you had becomes all about keeping a seat warm, it's absolutely constructive dismissal. We saw first hand a Champions League winning manager, fresh from the Real Madrid job, completely fail at getting Ashley to see sense. Keegan stood no chance.
  12. Won't be an easy game by any stretch, but they have their weaknesses as much as we do. 3-2 Newcastle win.
  13. Lovely stuff. Missed a few little things as they happened, like Trippier bowing to Joelinton after his freekick.
  14. I know the dentist is the master of waiting for a story to break or confirmation from the club before he tells everyone that he knew about it a week before. They’re a funny group. A lot of shadow accounts targeting abuse at people, and they seem to come out with questionable comments which turn out to be a mysterious hacker.
  15. Wouldn’t take a genius to see a player get clattered, react angrily, and go ahead and make up a tunnel bust up story. Why would anybody who witnessed it go ahead and tell this Penman chap? Would they only tell this Penman chap?
  16. I'm no psychologist, but I'd say Pickford couldn't settle after witnessing this.
  17. He’s well on the way to sorting out this teams mentality. Frasers post match comments back this up, the philosophy and togetherness is there with a clear recognition of wanting to improve game after game. Still obviously a long way to go and some big games coming, but if we maintain our shape and attitude, and add in Bruno, we’re well on our way.
  18. Look at us, attacking at 3-1 up like utter mentalists.
