What about the mini team-talk/briefings that seem to have started when theres an injury? Saw it against Leeds and Last night, oppositiion taking the opportunity to group most of players on the touchline and go through tactics again. Seemed to have started after the covid resumption, when water breaks were intorduced, but some teams creeping them back in.

Aye, on further reading its either a parody account, or the poster has an unhealthy obsession with PGMOL and Andy Madley. That thread has quite the breakdown on why Madley was biased against Arsenal last night.

Yeah, it was the (min.) 5mins added, but then was actually just over 97mins I think, when he blew the whistle. But this being a 'Top Six' team at home, not winning, it should have been a min. of 7, with it ending up around 10-15mins added. Of course all this not-added time is all on us, and doesn't even take account of Arsenal players rolling round on the floor at the slightest touch, until a FK is given. Or Ramsdales long winded Goal Kicks where him and two defenders have to decide which one will take it.

Apparently that pen appeal also came from the free kick where Joelinton actually won the ball against Saka, so shouldn't even have been a FK. Swings and Roundabouts.

Twitter is great this morning, with the delicious salty tears of Arsenal fans, with Liverpool fans occassionally chipping in (again) about our 'time wasting'. Said it to my son last night, as good as Arsenal are at home, we had only conceded one in the previous six matches, so it was up to them to break us down and take their chances. They couldn't. Its great that we are upsetting these teams, that we don't go to their grounds and just roll over and let them win as we used to, and crucially, we wont let ourselves be bullied by them either. Love It! Long may it continue.

Brilliant, fully deserved point, and great to upset another of the 'big boys'. Sky commentator was desperate for Arsenal to score/win. But, now Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs have all got to come to St James'. Only Man City and Chelsea of those 'top' teams we have to play away. Another clean sheet and still unbeaten, if only the ref hadn't played till Liverpool scored??!!

Same here, got Sky Sport PL on offer over xmas for the upcoming glut of NUFC matches(£15/month) and having to put up with these kids commentating, as doesn't include any of the other channels! Should just pay the extra £3 a month for the others!

Whey, disappointed with a point, and feels worse with Man City dropping 2 pts too. But also says a lot about how far we've come in a little over a year. But, we end 2022 with one defeat in all games all season, and we kept another clean sheet. Let's get back to it on Tuesday and start 2023 in the right way, see who we bring in this month, and lets just see where we can finish this season.

Thats the great thing about our team/squad now though. If Schar is out/rested today, Burn just moves across to CB and we bring Targett in (if he's available). We'd be bringing in a decent LB and Burn moves to another comfortable role.
