Couldn't have been buying much as the McLaren hasn't got a boot

This. There are rules, he broke them, got caught and now has to take the punishment. However it's nothing to do with gambling in football...he just happens to be a high profile player who's been caught out somehow. I would expect it's a lot more rife than known, but most are a bit smarter about how they do it
-
Well in that case it's even more offside, as there's no way he's not interfering with play in that situation.
-
And that is the spirit rather than the letter
-
His foot clearly beyond all other players, and therefore he is offside
-
By the letter it was offside....in the spirit he was going away from goal. Would have been disallowed if it was us that scored from it

Well you do something stupid like this, you deserve everything you get. Could have been professional and stayed quiet, but no have to go and try and get bites on Twitter. What exactly was she was hoping to achieve with this apart from abuse from our knuckle draggers, and compliments from the classy lot down the road. What a div.

How so? A rival losing one of their best players for 6-8 weeks sounds pretty handy. Unless you mean Spurs when you say 'us'
-
Can see Potter going with them the same way Souness went for us ..not popular, and got expensive players that he didn't know how to use handed to him...imagine the day when Fernandez, Felix and Mudryk run into each other when going for the same space
-
Got to be this...most MLS teams would struggle in a decent league where there is actually relegation risk. Bigger potential audience too...if the US ever joins the civilised world and makes football(soccer) their main sport then they could be the best potentially

Exactly...this is bulls**t. We seem to be the only club that is actually afraid of FFP for some bizarre reason. Maybe its a perversion of Sportswashing that we are whiter than white on the financial front to show that PIF is squeaky clean??? Or we haven't recruited anyone smart enough to get round it yet, or PIF actually wants to see a return on their investment and not throw millions away Boehly style
-
He had his moments. Good luck to him at Forest. Never the greatest, but had a decent pass every other game or four. Got stick for being a lazy so and so out of possession and not 'cos of his looks...We've had a fair few other bald loons that didn't get stick for it...(Ketsbaia, Sibierski)
-
It was an ankle breaker and a deserved red. S**t happens. Just have to deal without him for the next three....which is more concerning
-
He's no great loss. Several years past his shelf life here, and hasn't been part of the 11 for a long time. At worst its losing a relatively poor option from the bench, at best, its a past it, injury prone overpaid player off the books and an opportunity to replace him, or for Anderson or the other reserves to step up and show they belong.

Think this suggestion stopped being amusing in about 2008

Just a theory...half baked probably, but couldn't UEFA/FIFA just the say that ESL teams and players are their own Federation and therefore not allowed to compete in UEFA/FIFA competitions? Eg you don't see River Plate/Sao Paulo saying they're being punished by not being allowed in the Champions League, or Brazil/Argentina not being in the Euros? They might not be able to directly punish them, but surely can exclude without the court forcing them to change their own rules.

Said this exact same thing the other day....clearly don't give a f**k about FFP punishment as they've sold nowhere near enough to cover what they've spent since Boehly came in
