5 years ago today he got his serious knee injury away at ironically Man City. Do wonder what he could have went on and done for us that season
-
Silva and Toure back
-
Wilson has scored 5 of their 9 goals so far
-
Yaya went off injured yesterday, looked like his hamstring. Silva is the one. If he plays we lose

This lad is the kind of character we are desperate for in our side, not to mention his football ability. Strong as an ox who can bring others into the play. He is a leader and that is huge for us

Think someone made the point last night but it's worth saying again that we can't even revert to shutting up shop and try to grind out a 0-0 or nick a 1-0 to build some confidence/momentum owed to the fact that defensively we are terrible. In fact that's pretty much how he has tried to start the season and it hasn't worked. Can't attack, can't defend can't do any of the basics right.

The old, 'oh we've turned a corner' despite not forcing their keeper to make a save 0-2 but picked up a couple of bookings to get the Wonga Army placated. The defeats I hate the most. Think I Would prefer for us to get beat up badly than this. Football man

Need planes to land on Northumberland street for it to count as Newcastle Airport tbh

We were utter gash against Spurs. We lacked shape and at times looked like the players didn't really know where they were meant to be playing. Was like Pards threw a group of forward players onto the pitch and said "there you go lads, you lot can work the rest out for yourselves". He lost us that game with the wrong tactics and selection Pochettino out-foxed Pardew today. Their plan was to push up & close us down asap. When that happens, players like Bolasie, Zaha, McArthur & Puncheon haven't got a good enough first touch under pressure. Our plan B was to then just hoof it upfield looking for our quicks a la Watford from the 1980's. Not good enough and will leave us in serious trouble, as other teams will just replicate spur's plan. 2 quotes from the Palace forum. Oh man

"The same desire to attack and defend "

So strange him being selected on Saturday. Everyone knew he was going to be worse than s***, the fans did, McClaren and his coaching staff deep down probably did. Yet he was selected and low and behold was worse than s***. We aren't blessed in that department but a Perez with De Jong combo would have been much a better option from the start.

Sick to f****** death of how much the "Diego Costa plays on the edge You just have to love him" line has been trotted out this weekend. When was the last time he scored a goal?

Eriksen such a good player

Absolutely terrible first half. Players just looked shot of confidence and belief in what they were trying to do. Second was better but it was clear that in the 10 or so minutes after Jaanmats goal Watford weathered the storm and could deal with us pretty easily, no penetration in this team. For me we need PD in at left back and tbh I'd stick Taylor back in when fit for Colo, won't happen like but I think that's our best back four. Just have to hope Mitrovic can come back and have an extended run in the side and stay fit because we are desperate for that focal point up front.

Sums things up nicely. In 2015 we have won 2 f****** home games. 2.

I'm at this. Just bored with it all
-
Hate this 4-2-3-1 s***. It's never suited us
-
Has Carroll played any reserve games? Will be nowhere near match sharpness surely

Why is Kane this deep? Collecting it from the defence FFS
