  1. They might bring Memphis back in who could cause us one or two problems. Also Mata seems to love playing against us, always does well. Other than that it is feasible we can keep a clean sheet, put a chance away and nick it. We'll probably play well due to Man Utd and TV.
  2. Striker to winger to DM, already Pre Goufranned. Anyway welcome Henri
  3. Someone other than Sissoko who can carry it from A to B in midfield would be nice. Hopefully it's him
  4. Apparently the 9th player we've signed since 2010 to be represented by the agency 'Mondial sports management'. Other players include Thauvin and Rivière
  5. I think he would add balance to our CM, hopefully getting rid of the 2 DM axis of evil. He's obviously got some quality and the much sought after "premier league experience". If a new club helps him get back to form whilst giving us a different dimension then good.

    Sunderland

They've flirted with this for far too long, surely this is the season they drop
  7. I just think a lot of us probably felt liberated from Pardew, the massive caveat of course the club remaining under the control of Ashley. Being rid of Pardew and still serving the same dross ourselves will make his likely failure a lot less sweeter. We had a huge chance to make an imaginative and forward thinking appointment and we've ballsed it up
  8. The most regretful thing is we haven't moved on from his era as a club in terms of our style of play or results, of course still being permanently hampered by Ashley. Despite an initial attempt by McClaren to play better football it has since been ditched for more of less of what was served up under this idiot. Some short term relief in the shape of a younger, progressive manager would have done wonders. Such thick c***s at the helm of this club.
  9. He'll end up at West Ham or Southampton
  10. I've always thought that signing Shelvey would be highly unlikely, verging on zero chance. We'll have a price, won't budge or show any flexibility and he'll go somewhere else as he won't be short of suitors.
  11. We need to at least have 20 by the turn of the year which there is at least hope of, we aren't 1 or 2 wins away from the team's above us and still over half the season to go. This is before mentioning all of the negatives and glaring problems with the squad like. It really is 50-50 I reckon
  12. The 'we deserved f*** all' v 'deserved a point' man it's all irrelevant. We just don't do enough in games to win the amount we need. Hence why we're in the bottom 3 and have failed to take advantage of 2 home games
  13. What we deserve or don't deserve is irrelevant. We don't do enough in games, if it's missing sitters or simple errors. Not enough creativity, lacking basically a whole left side of the pitch and central midfield. How many times today did their players basically have an ocean to run into?
  14. Merry Christmas everyone

    Steve McClaren

So would Liverpool and Spurs. This team is pretty unpredictable at the minute. Of course aye but taking this game on its own merit I think they will. Looking at their right hand side, centre mid and of course the in form striker in the league.

    Steve McClaren

    Everton will smash us
  17. Absolutely no sign of the rain letting up like getting worse here
  18. I just want to see us really come out of the blocks with energy and vigour. Get after them early on and try to score in the first 15-20, if we score first we win.
  19. At the end there "great technique John"
  20. The way he collected it in one move and turned Alderweireld inside out with a drop of the shoulder was Suarez esque
