  1. We've been class away from home all season at the point of trolling teams, definitely lost our swagger and it all appears down to confidence. Clark being missing doesn't help, these 2 losses against Sheff Wed and today just wouldn't have happened as short as a few weeks ago.
  2. Could be out of the top 2 a week tomorrow, unlikely but possible
  3. Based on what? My assessment of how good they are as players. The normal reasons for giving an opinion. I've seen nothing from either that remotely suggests they're PL defenders. Yedlin's admittedly brilliant going forward at this level. What is a player, especially a right back playing in the championship supposed to do to show they are a PL player? You've said he's brilliant going forward at this level, I can't remember too many defensive errors and prior to this season he's played PL football. What's he supposed to be doing?
  4. Think we'll win, bring Yedlin back in and hopefully Clarke. We're far from perfect but I think there is spirit in the side and a real hunger to finish the job. The performance last night shows it, 0-1
  5. Have a feeling we wouldn't have conceded that goal if Clarke was playing, he has held this defence together for most of the season. We've been very good at shutting games down for the majority of the season, no coincidence we've looked shaky since he's been out
  6. Hopefully Fulham win, means they have to come out and may be feeling the pressure. We're the last side in the division you want to be playing at home if that's the case
  7. It's just the mindset of an average Newcastle fan, default position is that everything will go wrong.
  8. Rafa has been going in about these 7 games in April since about October. Confident we'll be fine. 2-0 today
  9. What a boost man Win tomorrow and go into the international break with the cigars out
  10. April will be a massive month, our performance today had nothing to do with us saving ourselves for that, we really were as bad as people are saying. We just sat back and let them do anything they wanted to do with the ball. Everything about today was poor and I do wonder if the 3 away games have taken something out of us, we'll see. Aye them 3 away games seemed to have completely drained us physically and mentally, we need a free week to re-group.
  11. 10 points from the next 4 should be the target, a draw here wouldn't be a bad result with the games we have coming up. Win it and we are laughing, think we will
  12. Whos that? Refereed our cup game against WBA last time we were in the Championship and he was terrible Wasn't he worse than the ref we had at Forest in that cup game? Can remember how Hughton going absolutely off it at him, and he's usually a calm bloke. If anyone was at the West Brom game in the FA cup in 2010 they will know. Single worst refereeing performance I've ever seen for a Newcastle game, I would include the Forest ref in that. Absolutely corrupt from start to finish. http://www.nufc.com/html/2009-10html/2010-01-23westbrom-a.html
  13. Think we'll win, their style will suit us. Gayle to start
  14. Good point, great week. Next 4 games get at least 10 points hopefully and have a very comfortable end to the season.
  15. These are the weakest side of the 3, pass the ball around but don't do much with it. Should be perfect for our style away from home. We can freshen things up a little bit by bringing Perez in, Yedlin back in at RB and Gayle will probably start. 2-1 win
  16. They have absolutely nothing about them bar Defoe, he was unlucky not to score today.
  17. We got could get this all but done in the next 3 games. Think we'll beat Fulham at home as well, they will play football and are a better side than most in the league which suits us. We usually take care of them games and with Gayle back we will score more goals
  18. Liable to get another howking this weekend though. On a bad run already, can't defend; hard one to turn around. Key for those down the bottom is who has games at home to Stoke, West Ham, Watford, Saints in the run in. At least the mackems aren't facing that this year. On the surface, they have a nice late run of Bournemouth, Hull, Boro, Swansea but they're all fighting..... unlike those Everton bellends last year. Heading into the last 5 games you want to face the likes of Stoke,West Brom and West Ham. Totally midtable and carefree. I reckon Palace will get a result at West Brom today
