    Steve McClaren

At least he's sending e-mails, unlike Colo.
  3. Looks like both Simpson and Cathro will be assistants?
  4. Look, it won't happen so we should just stop it right here. I'm just saying it would be a somewhat exciting signing.
  5. Why? He would be a waste of space, cost a lot and score very little. He'd also upset the team with his big time act. He's exactly what we don't want. He's an entertainer and a good player on his day.
  6. I'll be going away for a week today. How many signings will we have completed when I get back? Answers on a postcard.
  7. Das Bost. "Chief Sports Writer" Ryder must be an eminent cocksucker. Reminds me of a certain ex-"Head Coach" who said Ryder happens to adore.

  10. any reason to think it will be decent or just blind hope? Well, Cathro is supposedly very highly rated & progressive, was assistant at Valencia. Simpson has plenty experience & Steve Black is a bit of a legend as a fitness coach. I don't see why it wouldn't be an excellent team. I think it's more blind hope that we'll actually get them tbh. That setup would be an infinite upgrade if we can get it done. They need to hurry up. Yep, on paper it's definitely interesting. Especially Cathro would be an interesting appointment. A young, highly rated assistant manager who has worked in Spain will hopefully provide fresh ideas.
  11. He's still a good player obviously, but if the price is anywhere near the rumoured 200m Euros, that's just daft.
  12. Ramos and Schweinsteiger would be terrible signings in a way. 30 years old, both have seen their best days but will still cost a fortune.
