He was decent in the terrible Sampdoria side that were relegated a couple of years ago but I didn't expect to see him back playing regular PL football considering his recent injury/fitness problems.

I've always liked Dubs, in fact I'd say he's my all-time favourite NUFC keeper after Shay Given, or up there at least. You tend to forget past achievements quickly. Pavel Srnicek is a Newcastle cult figure but I'd say he was responsible for a fair share of howlers, possibly more than Dubs.
