Eaxctly, and stops on the way. A few away games this season will also include going past the SD HQ, no reason why busses shouldn't leave a few hours earlier to protest outside on the way there or on the way back. I honestly think you'd get a fair few opposition fans joining in on our side. I know Reddit and the like aren't true barometers of public feeling but the tide is turning on sites like that. They've gone straight through the "LOL Newcastle" phase and into actually feeling sorry for us. Even the ones that don't fully understand the sittuation still know the shit that Ashley puts the SD staff through.

Newcastle United 1 - 2 Tottenham Hotspur - 10/08/18 - post-match from p. 17

Atmosphere was very subdued. And I was there. Is that just the new norm now? -
How anyone thinks like this is beyond me. They think it because they have the memory of a goldfish and pay no attention to anything that happens outside the white lines of the pitch. We finished 10th last season = Ashley must be OK

really on the money there cp...if the people who won't stop going can be coaxed into doing something visible it'll make a massive difference the concourse thing was another good idea, get as many people staying in the concourses as possible for a set period of time in a TV game for example Didn't that lot just ignore the protests the last time we organised a walkout during the SackPardew days? More than a few had a grumble when people got up to leave and a couple even had a pop while I was leaving. Was there much coverage of that walkout on TV? Aye. Probably wasting your time with those types. I sat in the Strawberry Corner at the time and even there we got booed and called cunts as we walked out. I think the more annoying thing for me wasn't the odd bellend shouting abuse at the protestors but the fact that they were massively outnumbered by people sat looking confused because they had no idea what was going on or why anyone would be protesting. I said it before the start of the season and I still think it's true. Rafa could have walked out a month before the start of the season and half the stadium wouldn't even realise he was gone till the Spurs game.

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

In an ideal world we'd be able to say "Its probably because the matchday staff are getting generous yearly raises and bonuses well above inflation, which is keeping the costs high." But it's Ashley so it's safe to assume that's not happening. -

Manquillo and Lazaar are also awful there, though. Not exactly blessed with quality at LB
-
I think it's more likely that he's just not arsed about playing football anymore.

Feel daft for being shocked we haven’t even been able to dig up a sub-standard left-back from somewhere on loan Same here That we’ve not bothered to sign a left-back AGAIN is criminal. You not got faith in Achraf "I got cut from the squad of the worst Serie A team in history" Lazaar, like?
-
Am actually most concerned about CM tbh. We can shift around at the back and put square pegs in round holes if need be, but in CM we’re fucked if Shelvey or Diame are crocked/drop form. And when Hayden gets sold/loaned later today.
-
How could they leave out Lazaar, Toney, Aarons and Saivet?!?!? Integral parts of the squad, completely forgotten about!
-
Nah "we know where you live" is just about the right amount of menacing for me, calling him a fat speccy cunt is fucking wank though. There's ways to get a message across. "Charnley, DO YOUR JOB!"

Lonsdale shoes? This is all turning into a huge fire hazard

Even better, a simultaneous ripping down of everything in the stadium with the Sports Direct logo on it and chucking them on the pitch. Might get the message across. -

f*** that, we'd be dead in the water then. We need them to keep ramping the pressure up. To what end though? Is Mike gonna learn his lesson? Nope Is he going to sell up? Nope Is he going to do exactly this again next year? Yup I'm in full pessimism mode now. As Dave said, burn the fucker down. Then leave it dead. -

Why the fuck would any player in their right mind want to join this shitshow of a club? Getting to a point now where I'm actively wanting Rafa, Lascelles, ect to leave and join a decently run team because they're too good for this bollocks. -
This is the sort of thing I can lose hours reading. Not seen a single reply agreeing with him yet lol
-
Seen one where they set up one of those little mini trampoline things facing the keeper a few yards in front of the goal then blast them at it from behind the goal or inside it. Also looked harsh as fuck but I bet it's a good help for them.
-
He could leave today and thousands would still turn up for the Spurs without even knowing he'd gone.
-
Shanghai SIPG would be funny. Imagine being a defender in that league and seeing HBA, Oscar and Hulk coming at you. Or go to the other Shanghai and link up with Demba Ba again.
-
We've got too many keepers as it is. I imagine Krul wants to be first choice somewhere as he has barely played for 2 seasons. We need another few as backup for the backup's backup.

Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)
Papavasiliou replied to Nobody's topic in Football
Quite a lot of the WHU players are represented by the same company. https://www.transfermarkt.com/unique-sports-management/beraterfirma/berater/4142 They have 5 from West Ham and 4 from us (Lascelles, Gayle, Darlow and Dummett). -
Would it not be possible to offer him a new contract ourselves and bump up his wages a bit to get rid of the clause? Shame he won't get to another go here as he looked very tidy when he was fully fit. I completely expected him to end up first choice for most of this coming season once it's clear Diame's purple patch has run out.

I don't see how not getting an extremely tight decision right makes anyone look "Daft".
