Would love to see the stats on his long balls and headed clearances. Feels like every time he launches one recently, it's into completely the wrong area of the pitch. Lejune likes a hoof too so it would be interesting to put them up against each other and see who gets it on target more.

Particularly when none of them stand out in terms of ability and we're basically relying on hard work and buy in from the whole squad this season. Got to draw the line somewhere. I agree to and extent that a line needs to be drawn and hard work needs to be rewarded but could we not draw the line somewhere closer to the "Performances on the pitch" end of the spectrum though. Knowing that Joselu ran a bit further in training this last week doesn't make me any happier with his performances.

Lad still absolutely loves fouling everyone he goes near but fair play he's been really good recently. As others have said his fitness levels look 10x what they were and he's not giving the ball away half as much.

Agreed. I'm not completely opposed to selling him if the price is right and we have a replacement lined up, but who the hell are we going to get for under 20mil with that passing ability? Without him we'd be an injury or 2 away from Hayden and Mbemba running the midfield.
