Add in Dummett and Clark and it's still grim. -
Romagnoli and Belotti would be class but it would be very Italian for them to just be waiting to sign new deals. Maybe even seeing how the season ends first.
-
Also for Tarkowski, the club would probably rather keep him for the rest of the season, stay in the prem and let him leave for nowt. It's worth more to them in the long run and selling him mid season is signing their own death warrant.
-
The way transfer fees are going I can't even see that being worth it. Say we also get £20mil a year and we save it all up for the next four or five years we might be able to get a striker out of it.
-
Has the same problem (under Bruce) as all of our CBs. None of them could ever put a run of performances together. They always looked good for one or two games then wank for five. Always overlapping too so we never got more than one of them playing well at once.
-
Club statement should have just been "Stop being so fucking cringe, man!"
-
I can see us going straight in for at least one new CB in Jan if he comes in.

It's a wonder he even has a job. Whenever anything of his is posted about a million people dart out of the shadows to let you know they've never liked him.

We will never get anything as interesting as that Inter kit. Like it or not you have to respect the fact they've done something a bit different rather than making the stripes a mm or two thicker/thinner every year.

Royston Drenthe went straight to Real Madrid after an insane U21 Euros.

Some people are just too thick for any sort of racial education to ever take hold. It doesn't matter how many people post proving him wrong or how they explain it to him. Bellends like that are always just going to excuse everything away. Ban and move on, as Limmy would say. -

Aye I think a lot of people are writing them off just because the front line isn't the list world renowned super strikers like Vieri, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Totti, ect they're used to seeing with Italy. The ones they have are no slouches though. Berardi has been putting up decent numbers for Sassuolo. Belotti hasn't hit the heights of that one banger season he had but he's been decent enough since. Insigne and Immobile are far too overlooked when talking about the elite strikers of Europe imo. I want to see Chiesa and Barella do some damage. They've both got the ability to smash it if Italy go on a deep run. The defence is the bit I fear for looking at that squad but then again, they've not conceded in like the last 8 games or something so obviously they're doing something right.

Ah, you're talking about the white ones that haven't ever had to deal with these issues? -
Cabaye was a fucking terrier most of the time. Chasing people down and forcing them to make shit, rushed passes (or failing that just kicking them up a height and collecting yellows). I maintain a lot of Tiote's defensive dominance around that time was due to Cabaye forcing errors that Tiote could mop up.
