  1. Well even child murder is a calling for some people.
  2. Obviously he may well have been pushing for the Coutinhio's and Sturridges too. Impossible to say which is why like has been said, it's very harsh to judge him on the transfers.
  3. He's not totally responsible of course but he'll have had a say in some, would be interesting to know which one's he pushed for. Allen and Lallana for starters have been underwhelming and likely his picks. He didn't want Mario though and he seems to get a lot of stick for that signing.
  4. There's no players/staff left there I actually dislike anymore, it's just the fans and some of the media.
  5. You'd have a war on trying to extradite him.
  6. How are their finances these days? Weren't they cutting it close with FFP a little while back? They surely can't have too many windows of big investment left to roll the dice in.
  7. Isn't the system meant to represent the best interests of the people? Just suspend the sentance until he retires so he'll keep playing till he's 52.

If they win the derby with Allardyce Then again if we beat them and Allardyce
  9. Instant impact or season of transition?

Think Pearson might do ok there tbh.
  11. Would be interesting/depressing to see how often we score from set pieces vs. how often we concede from counter attacks to them. Might be in our best interests to just lump them all into the stands.

Meh. He's a tit but might be able to get them motivated. Managed to keep Leicester going when they looked dead and buried last season.
  13. They love a good quote though, as long as Klopp's giving them that they'll love him. Like Mou in his first tenure.
  14. Can we ban this guy? It's tough love. Needs to be said.
  15. He's won, you've lost. When he thinks back to that Stoke game, he laughs. When he looks at the league table, he laughs. The media are on his side. Fans of other clubs are on his side. He doesn't care if Newcastle fans hate him. Even if it goes terribly next season, people will refer back to the 'good job' he did at Newcastle, and his first one and a half seasons at Palace. Then he'll get another PL job somewhere, or a cushy job as a media expert. Or maybe just retire on his millions and focus on his playboy lifestyle. His ego will not be dented. Accept it, move on. It's over. Will be less painful for you this way.
  16. Would have scored if not for being fouled. Not a fan but he'll always have that nack of finding chances in the box.
  17. I really don't rate him more than an average bottom half cm, but some of these comments and those during the match thread are simply cringe worthy.

    Steve McClaren

We'll win the next four and all of this will blow over.
  19. That's not what I'm getting at, if someone makes a run then it gives the player making the cross another option instead of what Thauvin had to do all 1st half which was to try and float it in. It also splits the defence as well. Agreed. Also makes the defenders uneasy if there's a hulking great Serb flying about.
  20. All those crosses yesterday and you don't think it would have made a difference to have Mitrovic to aim for?
