no training, so time to have meetings, right? I'm clutching at anything hopeful right now. We only train for three hours a day, the idea thats why theres been no meetings? You're not helping

Why do I keep reading that this bloke is staying on? Please someone tell me this won't be the case. Reassurance needed desperately.

I can't see this lad lasting past this season after his disastrous season holding the reins* * I am aware he is just a puppet for Ashley.
-
F*CK'S SAKE MAN!!! GET BOTH THINGS SORTED YOU USELESS CRETIN CHARNLEY! I mean, what the hell else does he need to attend to?
-
That error in the title OUTSTANDING!!!

What was this tweet? It's gone now. The one saying the preferred media partners had been told to get to the training ground for a press conference. I think.
-
How has this press conference not happened yet?!?!? It's not like the preferred journos wont be close by, considering they know sh*t is going down atm. Effing tweet something Bird!!!
-
Have you combined Chris Mort and Barry Moat into one person? Yes. I am a mad scientist in my spare time. They now look like that Quagmire/Cleveland hybrid from Family Guy
-
Not mongish. A bit North Korea though, for sure. First time I've read it, but they seemed reasonable on there. Not a hint of RTG-ness at all.
-
I don't subscribe to this idea of experience in a relegation fight. A manager should concentrate on winning, regardless of table position. If Rafa can get them playing like theyre challenging for the Champions League then all the better.
-
How long does it take to set up a press conference?
-
Fairly sure Douglas said on his twitter yesterday that he was off work today.
-
Exactly. I'm not saying I would walk if I were in his shoes. It's not like he should be expected to, either. But it doesn't mean the useless t*** should be getting sympathy. This sums up my feelings too.

bloody hell, is that Lee Ryder's Spanish cousin? "As" English translators are a bit lacking Whats Spanish for window licker? Lamedor de ventanas. It was in that letter from colo to carver.
-
Raoul Moat or Barry Moat? Ha! Once I'd posted it and read it back, I thought that very same thing myself. I meant Mort. I shall go get the dunces hat and stand in the corner facing the wall for 5 minutes

this, mad how its rarely brought up Wonder if this was actually the cause though, or if Ashley just hadn't had enough time to make enough mistakes. We will never know, but Ashley was drinking with fans and hailed as a hero back when Moat was in the chair. Moat seemed to have a personable way about him and seemed like a reasonable guy. Lambias on the other hand looked every inch a devious, creepy arselicker who wouldn't bat an eyelid at sh*tting on the fans.

Sorry, still don't hold with the "bad way to treat him" line. Well, not entirely anyway. He could have had some dignity and walked rather than wait for pay (note: could have) or demanded a meeting sooner since he knew all this was kicking off. I never wanted him when he first started getting mentioned, but bar my frustration yesterday I don't really hate him. He isn't really on the level of pardew or carver who I totally despise. He seemed open and honest at first but could only repeat the same old sh*t when we lost after his terrible decisions. I do remember the good things he has done though; got rid of carver and stone, tried to play decent football, sold williamson and perhaps it was his influence that helped open the purse strings somewhat and the reports he wanted shot of colo. His persistence with playing colback is irritating though, as have been his latest team selections (unless he made them to very dangerously make a point about the squad quality). In short, I think he did bring some good things but he needs to step aside. Because I reckon he might have been influential in some signings then I would still be happy with him on the board as in fairness, he is a football person which we need in the boardroom (who isn't dennis effing wise).

Think it counts double, just because it's us.

Two managers are better than one http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01598/iain-dowie_1598151c.jpg I've just got 'Hello darkness my old friend' playing in my head looking at Ryan Taylor. And now so have I.

Inspired by the current situation of uncertainty around the NUFC managerial position (are we having both mcclaren and Rafa?), I was trying to remember the other two examples of co-managership. One of them was Houllier and Evans at Liverpool (pretty sure it was those two) and the other one was Curbishley and at Charlton. Who was as I cant remember. Also, have their been other examples of joint managership in football?
-
Wait, I'm confused. Are we keeping mcclaren AND chasing Rafa? None of the articles are really clear.
-
I Retract my earlier statement. I now DO hate him for dragging this out. Selfish c*nt.

McLaren is the coward here like. He is thinking he's playing a clever game under the pretence of being upset at his treatment. He could have walked, he could have demanded a meeting after the game but he didn't. He's now just trying to piss off the club and the fans who want rid of the cretin. All respect for the clown has gone. He's now just a balding pardew to me.
