  1. That’ll do for me. Is he short of a shed load of sports socks? Has he been to Magaluf??
  2. Just checked and they do deliver internationally.
  3. Great detective work Greg. Just bought one 👍

    Jacob Murphy

Still hoping he’s a Thauvin (who stays ...).
  5. I’d love to know who scouted him for us and whether there is somebody in particular responsible for ‘defensive’ scouting. We’ve done well with Lejeune, Fernandez, and Schar as well.
  6. Mentalists. £25 each and £500 buys a decent farewell gift. Or even £250 for an extravagant £5000 but £250k EACH!!! Madness.
  7. 72 points. Well chuffed. Made wholesale changes, including bringing in Rondon. Unfortunately, I also brought in Firmino for Aguero. And swapped Bernado, instead of Hazard, for Salah.
  8. 10 appearances in 12 isn't enough to go on for an 11.5m player. He’s got 79 points in those appearances. 4th highest. Wish I had him.
  9. Talksport saying that it is the first time a team has fielded 14 different nationalities in an English Premier League game. One for the trophy cabinet...
  10. Wish he’d asked who the three players were who were lined-up to come.
  11. Are we perhaps a bit less predicable and a little quicker/less ponderous without JJ?
  12. I, for one, am confident that a manager of Rafa’s stature is impervious to such bribery.
  13. Great article about how he got started (underneath latest edition).
  14. 74 but doing pants. Missed first week, but that still wouldn’t have pushed me up to a respectable position. Even at this early stage, table mediocrity is the best I can hope for (...sounds strangely familiar).
  15. So if Ashley remains, even with a personality/business-model transplant (I know...), it can never be our version of NUFC?

Sounds like this guy looked like a good acquisition yesterday! Fingers crossed he builds upon this performance.
  17. Hmm, would explain some of the pent up rage.
  18. Yes, would be nice it was still an oasis of wistful wonderful memories and might have beens.
  19. In an interesting twist, at Man City vs Fulham the crowd broke into applause (followed by the players). Both were silenced by the ref’s whistle to commence the minutes silence. So there was both; a first for me.
