  1. Didn’t see the game, did listen. Sounded like we should have won. Stats seem to back it up. Man City vs Burnley: possession 69-31%, shots 24 to 5, shots on 10 to 0. Score 5-0. NUFC vs BHA: possession 68-32%, shots 27 to 8, shots on 6 to 2. Score 0-1. We need better finishing. Who knew...
  2. Might well be. But let’s face it, there’s plenty in the public domain already. His life is a car crash on repeat. Still don’t think it should compromise the on pitch achievements at Rangers. (Can probably think of exceptions to that but don’t want to go there).
  3. Sorry. I often enjoy what you have to say, and admire your knowledge of our history. Reading this makes me think you’re spineless, grandiose and deluded. You want your fellow supporters to suffer? As you’re aware most of us don’t get a choice. It is and has always been NUFC. It is part of our identity. It will be long after any players, coaches, other paid employees, or owners are long gone. You seem certain that the club crashing and burning is the quickest way to change ownership. I get the desire for change, trust me I fully get it. What makes you so sure doing badly is the quickest way to achieve this? Take a look at other clubs prolonged decline. Think of the pain caused. If we’re doing well (relatively), a stable prospect, what makes you certain that makes us a less desirable ‘purchase’? Where’s your resilience? There are plenty of people who visit here and exponentially more elsewhere for whom the mid-late nineties and the Robson era were the exceptions to the normal experience of being a Newcastle supporter. We will or at least can outlast, despite the huffing and puffing and feigned disinterest we really have no choice. Grow a pair and get in touch with your empathy. See the similarity between yourself and other victims of the NUFC mind-virus. Chris Hughton is a decent man and a good coach. Hope he travels home feeling sick as a nun’s cunt.

No offence, but I pretty much disagree with all of your reply to TCD. You can’t just redefine ‘technique’ to only fit one component part and running at pace keeping the ball under close control requires great technique (touch) it isn’t solely about length of stride.
  5. Unbelievable... cackshoot cookies, in the worst possible taste.
  6. Personally, I never read red tops/papers in general, if I can help it. Full of horrible world news you can do nothing about and stupid vacuous blurb about stupid vacuous ‘celebrities’.
  7. Kind of depends how/if and what they hear. Have to expect a bit of a reaction if you decide you spread baseless invidious shite.
  8. is somebody buying us? Actually, don’t piss on me chips. This dancing feels niiicccee
  9. 2-0 up at Old Trafford until 70th minute. Holding out for a 0-0 at Palace (restricting them to four shots on target, we had three). Also a 0-0 at Cardiff, where we had 10 men for half an hour—not referring to how supremely shit Kennedy played—had six shots on target to their one and missed a last min pen ( am referring... never mind). In between the above, we’ve lost 2-1 to Spurs (15 shots each), Chelsea (drawing until an 87th min own goal) and Arsenal (two shots on target each) at home and to Man City away. None of them unexpected losses, humiliating results, nor characterised by unmotivated ‘already given up’ performances. Forgot to mention Leicester. Probably most disappointing performance for me and closest fit to the point highlighted. Saying that, giving away a stupid pen at that stage was always going to make a tricky game very difficult. Personally, I think we’re just getting started. Just hope everyone’s head is on the game—those that matter, I mean.
  10. Beat me to it. Wonder how many will get it.

Yes, bit shit/off-key (teetering on desperately sad) but did make me smile. I’d imagine it would raise an unexpected laugh from passers by so adds a little light into the world.
  12. I’m still a four. Checking my preseason crystal ball gazing, I’d all but written-off the start of the season (though fancied a win at Cardiff and at home to Leicester—who I expected to struggle this season). I imagined Rafa would have the new players bedded in by mid/end October and was satisfying to see Muto play the way he did on Saturday. Personally, I’ll start to worry (obviously I am not one of the people who want us to be relegated...) if we lose the winnable games coming up or we pick-up a key injury or two.
  13. loved Shay, but totally fair comments.

  15. Some phrase involving a nose and a face springs to mind.
  16. Sorry, but they're not like. I get that there's the idea of what the club is and then there's Ashley, and yes they're separate, but outside of that the actual NUFC and Ashley are absolutely one and the same. You can tell yourself that you're paying money to the club, but you're wrong, you're paying Ashley. Even the club shop is now a Sports Direct. they’re not; they are; they’re not. Confusing.
  17. You have a pussy not a cock and you serve Ashley. Are you for fucking real?

‘Kin hell. Probs best to cross that bridge when we come to it, not leap off in advance.
  19. This is a can’t lose game for Mourinho. Not sure whether that’s a disadvantage or advantage for us!
