  1. Nah... pelvis is nowhere near elevated enough (those butt cheeks/Kim-cushions don't deflate all by themselves!)
  2. I'd have Cairney, personally. Though more controversially I'd take both as a better pairing than either with Shelvey.
  3. In my warped mind, last post increases the likelihood that we will sign him!
  4. With an eye in that forgettable well-dressed Irish-fella with the hot girlfriend (Tobin), personally I don't want anyone who doesn't really want to be here.
  5. Well, we did technically win something... there was a trophy and everything Mike. Cheerio!!
  6. Stupid argument. Newcastle don't play International football. David Healy had a really good goalscoring record at International Level. Didn't mean a thing at club level though where he was useless. Wasn't an argument, stupid or otherwise. It was an observation. Not playing to his strengths, quality of opposition (France?) seem reasonable reasons for the difference. Plus football is such a confidence game, that even the impact of not being 'the main man' knowing that you are relied upon/believed in can have an impact. That said, many have seen enough of his game (self included), of his strengths/needs, to conclude he is not a RB type player, or for some even good enough 'as is' for the Premier League. I just think it is curious to see a record compared to another perceived to be impeccable record, at a certain age.
  7. In the last two years he's scored 7 goals in 10 internationals. Using Shearer's international record as an example (though among many reasons why this is an unfair comparison, 'Al S' didn't get his first cap until he was 22; 'Al M' is still 22) 'Al S' scored 5 goals in 13 appearances (1992-94). No not saying he is even in the same league; but you can only judge on what you see and absence of evidence (for quality) isn't evidence of absence. If he truly is Misstrovic how come he scores international goals?
  8. Yuk! The butcher's apron FSA pisstake is spot on. What a mess. No mistaking them with Stoke or Southampton now. Whoops! wrong league.
  9. "Vurnon Anita had the most beautiful arse in football." http://e1.365dm.com/15/05/16-9/20/derby-steve-mcclaren-sky-bet-championship_3297984.jpg?20150502134603
  10. Off to Serie B!: Parte Inferiore new manager (Gluteus Maximus) is a big fan apparently... of Kim Kardasian

  12. Interesting 'post 1992' overview of the performance of the 49 teams who have played in the Premier League. Only seven teams have been there longer than our 22 seasons. In terms, of 'highest prem finish' only six teams have done better than our two second place finishes. http://www.bolton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=493831
  13. Where from? [edit: found it, as above, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/05/chelsea-prospect-tammy-abraham-set-sign-newcastle-united/]
  14. Prophetic words not just relevant for young Bradley. Fair play to RTG for the Cheick Tiote thread: https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/cheick-tioté-rip.1369248/
  15. Heartbreak for his loved ones, that no one can heal. Joyous memories for thousands, that no one can steal. 30 years old... RIP Cheick. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dx_xqLCfzWM/T2g88ka45hI/AAAAAAAAFZI/CPh00aTgAck/s320/5%2BCheick%2BTiote.jpg
  16. Delph's a good player and a leader. Won't be surprised if Rafa went back (same re McCarhy). For me, Centre Mid next season is hardest to picture as I like both Shelvey and Hayden and don't know enough to be confident about how the linked (or lusted after) alternatives might play together.
  17. I wonder sometimes how many of these links might be bluffs by the club to try and loosen the resolve of their primary targets.
  18. That url is very misleading. £87m for a Man City 'never-played'... makes Lukaku sound cheap.
  19. Why does he need to Kiss And Make Up? You're In A Bad Way if you think he will Join Our Club; People Get Real! Metaphorically why would Pogba take the Street Streets when he can zoom down the Avenue; Like A Motorway. It's not like He's On The Phone right now, which--Hug My Soul--Is A Good Thing! (In case you think I've lost my mind: http://www.officialcharts.com/artist/28466/saint%20etienne/)
  20. Shame - thought Mbabu had potential. Ditto absolutely 'owned' Sterling (who was subbed) in our last thrashing at the Etihad (before it became a thrashing).
  21. Possible first team squad: would that number of replacements be good enough? Even if not the exact players, similar quality? Rob Elliot Karl Darlow Caballero (Chelsea) or Hart (West Ham) Reina Ciaran Clark Jamaal Lascelles Mbemba Semedo (Villareal) Lejeune Mangala Chambers Jansson Paul Dummett Massadio Haidara DeAndre Yedlin Malone (Huddersfield) Gibbs Willems Veltman? Manquillo ( ) Cairney (new contract) Fuckus-Cheek (Palace) Clucas (Swansea) Murphy J. Merino ( ) Kenedy Isaac Hayden Matt Ritchie Jonjo Shelvey Christian Atsu Aarons Sarr (Rennes) Samaris Sam Larsson Pires Boudebouz Holtby Perez Abrahams (Swansea) or Onyekuru (Everton) Bas Dost Hernandez (West Ham) Joselu ( ) Dwight Gayle Mitrovic LOAN Sterry Toney (Wigan) Armstrong (Bolton) Woodman SOLD/released Vurnon Anita Ameobi Mbabu Guoffran Murphy D. Hanley Gamez Colback Diame Siem de Jong Rivière Saivet Sels (loaned to Anderlecht) Krul (loaned to BHA) Lazaar (loaned to Benevento)
  22. Wtf Queen plays diagonal up the pitch, pawn too high up to defend the king and can't get back. Check mate. nice one.
  23. He looks top drawer potential to me. Would be delighted to pay them £20m+ at the end of a 10-15 goal season.
