Looks good whenever i watch him, poor guys had a succession of Pulis, Warnock & now Pardew as manager. Can barely hold down a starting place & finishes top scorer every season Yeah he's certainly wasted by fuckhead. I think he'd suit us, mobile finisher up top.

22nd November (Tuesday night) has Sheffield Wednesday vs. Newcastle and Sheffield United vs. Coventry. Seems unlikely they'd do that, surely? I suppose TV games not being been selected might end up being a factor in that, the fixtures will be subject to a lot of change i would think.

Do you not think Wenger realises they need to mix it up a bit, and sign a player like Vardy? As mentioned, someone with aggression and edge who annoys defenders, everything Arsenal lack. People have twisted about Wenger's methods for years now and when he finally looks like buying someone who alters it somewhat he's still doing wrong. Aye but will he actually change his methods regardless of who he signs though ? I can't see Wenger even tweaking his philosophies to accommodate 1 player who's only had 1 exceptional season. Although you have the Rafa factor in this but, the (few) goals we conceded when Chancel and Jamaal played together, rather than the (loads) goals Taylor and Coloccini or one of those with them. Rafa brings solidity but Colo and Taylor will never bring that as they're both hopeless, and our defensive record over the last few years tells you we've had a massive problem at centre back (as we all knew). Chancel and Jamaal may not be the very best but i think Rafa has seen something he really likes and can build on with them.

I know we've got Rafa but nobody should be happy if Colback is starting CM for us, he's absolute fucking pony I dislike colback but he's contributed something under Rafa honestly, a lot more than Shelvey anyways. It will be 4231 I expect too. I'd can both of them but yeah, I'll grudgingly admit that Colback looked better after a few games with Rafa Djimi Traore won a Champions League medal becasue of Rafa, he was still shit and even though we'll be in the Championship i'd rather see rest of Colback the same colour as his head, on fire basically. Not advocating his selection don't get me wrong. I'd love us to sign two new central midfielders at least personally. Agreed, and i think we will.
