  1. I agree with this. I think once he has a premier league game that he really makes his mark on, then we will see him step up another level.
  2. Then we also need optus sport as well for premier League, and Kayo for league cup. Disney,Netflix, binge or Amazon if we want to watch something that's decent non footballing. Streaming has gone from being a great solution to piracy to causing it to make a return again unfortunately.

    Alexander Isak

Can't see us letting him go for anything under double what we bought him for, and only if we think we can get appropriate replacements in. To get to where we want to be as a club we will continue to get these rumours popping up about our players, really shows how far we've come. Eventually though we will have to sell, I'd be shocked to see any of Isak, Bruno or Botman retire with us.
  4. Yeah I saw Venezuela beat Uruguay 3-0 in 2004, we had flown to Uruguay to play in the Punta Cup in Punta Del Este, alongside other youth teams. That game was eye opening
  5. Outside of Australian stadiums only one of now was the Centenario in Uruguay, that was an eye opener for a 16 year old on the other side of the planet
  6. Captain of a champions league team, should command a few around 50million right
  7. League that spends big on good quality Attackers and not on defenders sounds like it will be fun to watch alot of goals in the highlights though
  8. Can walk on torn ACL, it's av very distinct pain though, I've torn both mine
  9. Even after the takeover was confirmed it wasn't looking good for us going into January, if we hadn't had such an amazing end to that season we would've been relegated and in the championship in the season just gone, that was only around 18months ago, not long in the scheme of things. The fact instead we qualified for the champions league is insane really
  10. Some people really have forgotten that we thought we would be in the championship last season, now we're in th champions league. Bruno played a large part in that, he has every right to be pissed off.
  11. That's actually sad to here, the fever we had for the Matilda's here has been unlike any other football event we've had before. Part of that will be home soil, part may be due to the prime minister promising a public holiday if we make the finals, but even still the excitement was immense. I wouldve assumed Spain and England being in the finals wo up level garnered massive attention back in their home countries
  12. Wouldn't even say he had a poor game, he was our main outlet against the best team in the world, guy worked non stop all game, and even when he should have nothing left in the tank, he stills finds more to keep going.
  13. He's had some poor moments, but he'd been the main outlet we've had there, he'd been in an absolute shift this game
  14. Good to see the refs are looking after man City, who are obviously needing the support
  15. Thought refs were supposed to be clamping down on dissent, Grealish just having a go at him all the time
  16. Been looking forward to this all day, feeling unusually confident about this match
  17. Never feel like we're getting the win against City, but this at least feels like the best time to play them to try and get something out of it. Worst case though it's over and done with and not going into the end of season run in still needing to get through this fixture.

This is it, at 18 his career is ahead of him, and he looks quite the prospect, with Livramento on the right, and Botman in the middle it's a backline that could remain relatively consistent for nearly a decade as we inevitably transition to life after tripper and schar at some point.
  19. If these were friendlies or regular season games and not the world cup I'd bet money she wouldn't haven't played any of them, she's definitely not fit currently
  20. Well done Lionesses, definitely deserved that win, alot more clinical in front of goal. We've not taken our chances in front of goal this tournament as much as we should, still the Matilda's can hold their head high, they've definitely changed the view of football and women's sport in Australia, hopefully it's not forgotten about come Monday morning though.
  21. Great goal no one would be saving that, I just hope we can equalise and get back in the game here.
  22. Work rate from him was brilliant, moment tracking back in the first half to being the last defender and cutting the angle for Diaby was immense. Really think he's got the ability to become a top player, and the humility and workrate to actually get there
