Wilson was always going to be first choice, but if we don't bring an attacker or striker in at all (I think we will btw) then this window has been a bit of a failure given how clearly imperative one was when last season ended due to Wilson's injury record and the quality of Wood.

Midfield and attack aren't good enough to do so yet unfortunately. Midfield aside from Bruno doesn't use possession well enough and the attack isn't good enough to have sides sit deep against us so we have to recycle the ball in their half to break them down. Be a couple seasons yet before we start averaging 60%+ possession in games.

It's about how patronising he is. Defended Bruce to the hilt solely due to being his mate when it was clear that he was fucking shit and by the end of his tenure was certainly taking us down.
