As is the drop from Wilson to Wood if we signed only Diaby. In an ideal world we'd get both, but that's looking unlikely going by the baldwards article.
-
Would take him, but he had just 10 goals in 41 appearances last season.
-
Just a nothing player tbh. Have had a bit of a dislike for him after those 2 ridiculous yellows he got v Southampton (h) in 20-21, a crucial game at the time. Idiocy.
-
That didn't happen once last season post January.
-
Yeah. Massively affected the atmosphere when he broke that L7 section up. Strawberry Corner/Gallowgate is good but acoustics of the ground means its not always picked up by the wider parts of the stadium or TV.

Aye. There's probably close to about 31,000 ST holders, 3k away fans, however many corporates, be about 16k tickets.
-
Was 310th in the queue and have been able to buy my old seat, no one bought it for ST. If only I was there for season tickets.

Yep. Everton fan who occasionally changes his bio, picture, header et al to look like a journalist every so often and makes crap up about us, Liverpool or Rangers and always gets bites. Can tell by the @. Gotta respect it at this stage.

It's that Everton fan on the wind up again. Does it so well, like.

1997-98, aye. I don't mind it but wouldn't like it for us. That's a template for Macron though, Hajduk Split have the exact same design for their kits.
-
Strawberry Corner the most likely surely? Most stand there currently anyway.
-
Be certainly pushing top 6 with all 3. Think the former will get us as 'best of the rest' but Paqueta on top would definitely have us right up there. Issue is the cost that would be, especially on top of what we've already spent in the last year.

Really do envy The Fish's patience posting on there. Articulates stuff well with sapient logic but then is piled on with the usual mackem tripe. Don't know why he bothers.
-
The hairy tory fucker is talking shite there like. No way is there only 6k on sale after selling only 1k more STs this summer.

It's Ponteland Airport, the bridges over the Tyne are in Gateshead not Newcastle, if you're born in Shields or outside the city centre you're not a Geordie and a plastic mag. They actually believe that and perpetuate it in their minds. They're fucking mental.

Emotional quick "not for sale" claim from Everton to calm an already very fractured fan base. Wonder if that'll change if we (god forbid) offer more than £35m. Just offer the money for Diaby. It's far better value anyway.
-
I'm sure he's a talent has a high ceiling but £35m+ for a good half season? His FBRef stats are also shite. No thanks. Diaby at £45m-£60m is still much better value. Hope we don't pursue this one.

Man City (h) shifted to Sunday 21st August, 4:30pm kick off, Sky. Wolves (a) shifted to Sunday 28th August, 2pm kick off, Sky. Liverpool (a) same kick off date and time, BT. West Ham (a), shifted to Sunday 11th September, Sky.

Longstaff only started 5 of the 17 matches after the January window, he's hardly nailed on. I get the calls for a midfielder, truly, but a striker and a winger are far more pressing issues imo hence why I've been talking those up far more. Obviously I'd be delighted if we sorted all 3, but I'm not expecting it. We're as it stands a Wilson injury away from having to play Wood again and let's face it, given Wilson's injury record that's bound to happen. Arsenal and Burnley games were evidence that we can be a far different, more commanding side with Wilson in the team whereas we're more passive with Wood so that has to be sorted. If for our striker or main source of goals we're relying on Wilson and him being fit again then that is an enormous failure of squad management, given how desperately we've needed one. I have faith it'll get sorted though. Winger is also far more important than a midfielder as ASM aside we have nothing from wide areas. Almiron last assisted a goal in the opening game of 2020-21, and has scored 5 goals since then also. Fraser is marginally better but 5 goal involvements in his last 27 appearances is still shite for where we want to go. The burden on ASM of being our only decent winger has clearly taken its toll and some fans started turning against him as a result. That needs sorting and I think that ASM will also benefit as a result; the burden on him being our main outlet is gone, sides won't double up or even triple up on him as they have done in the past so he'll be in more 1v1s which he tends to win which will result in more chances.
