Yep. We went out drinking on the Saturday before the final and the prices in Soho were identical to town. Had a deek at my bank statements to gauge the increase in the cost in my usual pre match haunt of the Bodega; was £4.70 up until April 2023. Then it was a fiver up to February last year. Then £5.20 from March to November. Now its £6.10. Gone up by pretty much 25%. And for what reason? They can't blame any COVID fallout anymore.

They want to have a look at their mad price rises in the last 3 years. Was a fiver or less for a pint at the end of 2022, now its well over 6 quid in most city centre pubs. Costs the same to drink in Newcastle as it does in the vast majority of London now.
