  1. Football is going to boycott it's biggest marketing tool. For a weekend. Good for them. I love the fact MOTD announced it just before our game, with Lineker adding "and other people involved in the game"
  2. People blame VAR, but technology started ruining the game a long time ago. They didn't even show a replay of that?
  3. Well, I don't know about that. I wasn't disagreeing with you, but doesn't it depend on how much debt Liverpool have? Are they valued at £3Billion, or is it £2Billion with a Biliion debt
  4. I don't think it's semantic to point out that the club is not debt free, at all.
  5. The club is not debt free. The club is not worth £305M. The club is worth £205M and has debt of £100M. To say otherwise masks the behaviour of Ashley.
  6. Yeah. But I wasn't questioning your maths. Obviously £305M for a debt free club, in comparison to the liverpools of the world, appears to be good business. But if the reality is that it's £205M for £100M debt, that's quite different.
  7. That Balbuena sending off was fuckin ridiculous.
  8. Is it not £205 million for a club with £100 million in debt, to the owner? Or have those loans been paid back?
  9. They'll get the same punishment as the banks got. Twice a year, some celebrity will appear on Question Time to call them names, and the crowd zoom chat will go wild.
  10. Real life has finally become the simulation. Of a simulation.
  11. Think I'll wait for all the hoo-haa around wealthy owners to die down before demanding our takeover, by the richest private wealth fund in the known universe.
  12. Yeah, but there are no plans to reveal.
  13. European law? Set up to benefit rich Americans? No, surely not.
  14. It's a one goal lead at half-time.
  15. 4.5 billion in Asia. How many in North America?
  16. The games will be played all over the world. Could have 24 hour live football.
  17. I think eventually you'll have two different sports altogether. Different rules, different formats. A bit like T20 cricket.
  18. I think, long term, they're planning on ditching the PL. They want to be at both ends of the income stream during the transition.
  19. It's the virtual world, innit. Why bother trying to satisfy a number of fans that is restricted to the size of your multi million pound stadium, when there is a whole world of fans that can be accessed virtually.
  20. The few thousand that attend each game against billions worldwide. It's all in the marketing and whilst I wouldn't have a clue how o market this to the world, I think JP Morgan might be in contact with the type of people that think they can. We'll see.
  21. That's why it's reassuring, but confusing, to see such widespread objection. Ordinarily, in the political world, those words would generate widespread support. Maybe the tide is changing. Probably a tsunami to wipe us all out, like.
  22. Which they will probably get back from sponsorship.
  23. Was just an easily recognisable reference point.
