Football is going to boycott it's biggest marketing tool. For a weekend. Good for them.
I love the fact MOTD announced it just before our game, with Lineker adding "and other people involved in the game"
Well, I don't know about that. I wasn't disagreeing with you, but doesn't it depend on how much debt Liverpool have? Are they valued at £3Billion, or is it £2Billion with a Biliion debt
Yeah. But I wasn't questioning your maths. Obviously £305M for a debt free club, in comparison to the liverpools of the world, appears to be good business. But if the reality is that it's £205M for £100M debt, that's quite different.
They'll get the same punishment as the banks got. Twice a year, some celebrity will appear on Question Time to call them names, and the crowd zoom chat will go wild.
Think I'll wait for all the hoo-haa around wealthy owners to die down before demanding our takeover, by the richest private wealth fund in the known universe.
It's the virtual world, innit. Why bother trying to satisfy a number of fans that is restricted to the size of your multi million pound stadium, when there is a whole world of fans that can be accessed virtually.
The few thousand that attend each game against billions worldwide. It's all in the marketing and whilst I wouldn't have a clue how o market this to the world, I think JP Morgan might be in contact with the type of people that think they can.
We'll see.
That's why it's reassuring, but confusing, to see such widespread objection. Ordinarily, in the political world, those words would generate widespread support. Maybe the tide is changing.
Probably a tsunami to wipe us all out, like.
