  1. And all those people questioning if bravo was really better yesterday hahahaha.
  2. Can't believe Villa spent millions on forwards and wingers and totally forgot how shockingly bad their cenre midfield and entire defence is. They have what it takes to score the goals needed for pormotion but for fucks sake you've to keep them out the other end and their defence just isn't capable of that. It will proabably cost them promotion all early signs point to that.
  3. Once Huddersfield lose 1 they'll lose 3 or 4 more in a row. Going on adrenaline at the moment. Or they could have sky high confidence now after beating the league favoirtes away, given the club their best ever start of all time, and winning 5/6. Confidence can take you far and one defeat doesn't neccessaryily ruin it. Everyone thought the wheels would come off Leicester's wagon soon as they lost a game last season but the few defeats they did get didn't stop them. I am not saying I expect Huddersfield to go up I dont. I think they will finish in the top ten now and maybe get a playoff spot if they keep the spirit up. I am just saying anything can happen in football and tbh huddersfield have looked one of the best teams in the league in the first 6 games as surprising as that is. Stranger things have happened in the sport and they may not have the fade away we all expect. We shall see.
  4. It was very risky stuff. The way he reacted you could tell by his face he was like "oh shit". For me whenever players resct like that it's tell tale sign they know they've fucked up. If they didn't think they fucked up they'd just act normal. It was a close one to call and relieved it went our way but I wouldnt have been too pissed if it was given because while there wasn't a lot of contact on review he does stick his knee out a bit and make contact as a result so there is just enough there for Derby to argue their case. He went on to have another solid game anyway long may his good form continue.
  5. "The small clubs never beat the big clubs in Spain".
  6. It's a change from the old set penis anyway Good to see Rafa getting them practicing areas we've been known to be weak in. Who knows Ayoze's run for the corner when he had it could be a scenario practiced in training for when we're leading in the dying minutes. Or it was just brilliant vision and awareness from Shelvey. With Rafa's brilliance and Shelveys recent improvements either is possible.
  7. Not really, we've missed about 3 sitters in the last 5 minutes If there was any justice in football they'd have been four down by the time that went in. Serbs with another golden chance as I type and off the line luck of the Irish strikes again.
  8. Hopefully Murphy bullets them in like that for the toon! Most undeserved equaliser I have seen for a long time.
  9. Penaly was a clear dive, but regardless Ireland have been atrrociuos tonight should be 4 down if justice was always served in football. The football they've played is brainless hoof, hoof, hoof, it's like they've been afraid of the ball.
  10. Should be noted that the guy has never been a regular starter for anyone. His goals record is bad but would love to know how many games if those were sub appearences especiallyin the last 15 minutes or so. I think he's shit too but his record might not be all as bad as it looks on the surface is all I am saying. Given their lack of attacking options it was a must to sign any kind of ST with premier league experience anyway. Still hoping for a defoe injury to ruin them
  11. Well Sissoko did congratulate him first when he joined Liverpool so that's most likely why probably just sees it as politeness.
  12. As horrible a human being I am for wishing harm on somebody, I realy hope defoe breaks his leg and joins borini in the doc's office that will be the nail in the coffin. Unless that happens, they'll be fine, Moyes will organise them well enough and with defoe up top they will scrap enough points to see them through like they always somehow do. Fucking unflushable shits, another 17th place trophy awaits them.
  13. And I meant thirty million yes and not 30 pounds before someone who thinks he's clever, or at least try to make himself feel clever, steps in to correct me. Rafa got Mike's word AND he got it in writing? Well I'm sold. Everythings coming up milhouse. Thanks for the ITK. Nothing ITK at all. It was widely reported in the media the guarentees he got in writing before he agreed to sign on. Granted media sources can be clueless too but not them all. I have no doubt he'll make sure the thirty million is reinvested into the squad, the man's not a fool and not just a yes man like the 3 twats that came before him (Pardew, Carver and Mcclaren).
  14. But their four "aging" defenders did exactly that last year and only massivly helped win them the league. They dont have enough backup though for their positions and with europe this year fatigue and injuries could come into play so yeah I share your surprise ar them not getting more defenders in. I think Simpson is better than average tbh. Okay he's not world class or anyhing but he's not shit and always felt he was underated by most of our fanbase. He was better than we gave him credit for as a player. Maybe because he was a bit of a tool off the pitch fans just weren't eager enough to give him credit where it was due.
  15. And I meant thirty million yes and not 30 pounds before someone who thinks he's clever, or at least try to make himself feel clever, steps in to correct me.
  16. Rafa made sure he got Ashley's word that he'd reinvest money from player sales back into the team before he agreed to stay, and got it in writing too along with other guarentees so he cant make another of his sly deceitful moves, so I'd be happy the £30 will go into signing another few players. The fact we were breaking even before the big money sale is evidence that Ashley is sticking to his word, all that was needed was a clever man who knows how to get him to do that.
  17. Only two worries I would have are his fitness, that his injury problems are behind him and he isn't too lightweight for the league. Looks a talent playing at his best. Can player across the park in midfield too which could be handy. Played lots at Malaga the second half of last season so hopefully his injury problems are behind him. Hopefully but this is Newcastle United and our players always manage to get injured our luck with injuries is atrocious. Also going to lose him to the Cup of nations for a month or so. Stenght won't be as big a factor if he's playing put wide. That's more a concern for the likes of Ayoze when he finds himself being marked by 6 foot + centre halfs trained to make things a physical contest on the pitch.
  18. Past performance is the best indicator of the future. Vitesse player of the year and player of the tournement, in an major international tournement that is, I am sure if he can impress in Erdivise(similar quality to the championship) and a major international tournement he'll have no problem in England's second division. Very good signing.
  19. When he's proven shit and (if) he plays against us again we need chants of 'Champions league you're having a laugh' and 'What a waste of money'.
  20. Let them be bitter, I enjoy their frustrations.
  21. Been saying the same thing for 5 years now but they're the unflushable shit remember they just wont go down.
  22. 30 mill for our most overated player since Michael "the sicknote" Owen. And he's far more overated than Owen too. All I have to say is: ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! Suckaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssss Bit the bullet Everton, you bit the bullet. Stupid muthafuckaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssss!!!!!
  23. He'll never bring success so it's a definite no. Everytime he looks to have things moving right he always fucks up somehow and we're worst off for it. I said to many fans durng the season we finished fifth that past performance is the best indicator of future success (or failure in our case) and they were all like "oh but he's changed now things are different" were they fuck! Never trust Ashley.
  24. At the end of the day if promation is the ambition and what is expected then we should expect to win the vast majority of our home games and that includes against potential promotion rivals as they're the biggest games. Last time we only drew twice at home iirc and won all else. We have every right to have gone into this season expecting similar home form with the money we've spent and players we have got. We have already fucked up once at home which was an unacceptable defeat. The players should be happy with a win today but a draw is two points dropped could virtually mean more come the end of the season if Brighton are up there with us. If we were away fair enough a point is not bad but we have to win our home games no excuses.
  25. Our last ex-Sunderland loanee right back didnt do that badly and went on to be a champion.
