  1. Losing manager has to do immediate pitch side interview at full time before the camera cuts to Alan Sugar in the studio
  2. Are they though? Own team bias aside, I’d have absolutely no desire to watch Chelsea batter Morecambe. Possibly different if it was at Morecambe, but a routine victory to nil for Chelsea’s reserves isn’t high on my watch list. At least Villa v West Ham should/could be competitive.
  3. Tbf with the full PL fixture list the midweek after they were a bit limited in what they could select for the Monday night.

    Sven Botman

Defensively he’s been absolutely excellent, but there’s no question having Botman back will improve us significantly when we have the ball.
  5. Howe said we didn’t bid anywhere near that tbf.
  6. It’s gonna have to be if they don’t want to nosedive in the new year when their first four home games are Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool and Spurs.
  7. Tbf he said they appeared to still be together at whatever match it was at the time. Which might well have been the case in public until she decided to fuck it off.
  8. Another one on 4 yellows now.
  9. Get your ‘friend’ to bring another lass home and then check the state of his messages the next morning.
  10. Best game for us? I think so. Really promising he looked a threat for the full 90 as his race is normally run by about 70 and he ends up being a bit of passenger for the last 20 when there’s no Wilson to replace him.

  12. What tonight did reinforce for me was that we’ll never be this unlucky again:

    Match Atmosphere

Thought it was decent enough on the whole, although never quite reaching ‘raucous’. The Schar goal wasn’t celebrated as wildly as could have been expected for a late equaliser, but I think that was down to an element of shock, as a lot of the crowd (probably me included tbh) were sat thinking ‘I can’t believe this has happened against them again’.
  14. Easy to say as someone not involved, but you really need to ignore “folk on Twitter”.
  15. Funny enough the last time we beat these in 15/16, they played Southampton away in the cup live on TV a few days before, won 6-1 and looked absolutely mustard. We were shite, and the run up to the game was exactly like this, ‘got no chance’, ‘gonna get battered’. We won 2-0.
  16. Ultimately demand is outstripping supply to such a degree that they’re pretty much in a position where they can’t win whatever they do. Not to say they shouldn’t keep taking feedback, and continue to look to tweak things based on that, but it’s never going to be enough.
  17. Aye, it was Bobby that sent Coloccini off and had the dog ‘issue’.
  18. Referee: Andy Madley - a first appointment involving Newcastle this season. We last experienced the West Yorkshire whistler in August 2023 when he took charge of our 5-1 PL home victory against Aston Villa.
  19. Every major bookie suspended the ‘next PL manager to leave’ market…

    The Other 18

Clubs in mourning for minor muscle strains now.
  21. You would have to think so given the demand for every other game. The fact the Wimbledon game sold out midweek probably being the clearest example.
