On Saturday night and Monday night respectively. Sky have f***ed over Villa fans for that game. Ah well. Worth noting the Villa game is subject to either us or Villa being in the FA Cup 5th round... If we are, then that'll be moved again as well like Our fixtures could get pretty ridiculous if we go on a run in that cup. Villa away to Spurs like so will probably come down to us beating Birmingham.

Blackburn away tickets on sale. Straight to zero points. £30.

Fernhurst has changed hasn't it? Apparently it's a family pub that admits away fans but "doesn't encourage singing", or so I read. Heads up for anyone looking to go by train - I've booked to go via Carlisle and it was about half the price of going via York.

Yep, 8k according to this: http://ewoodpark.jimdo.com/ewood-park-history-of-the-stands/

I very much doubt they will be. Crazy booking up this early for Brighton when it's odds on that the fixture will be moved. Seems fairly daft that they've scheduled Championship games that weekend. How many are actually going to take place? 2-3 at the most i'd reckon.

It's the 4th round on the 28th, but aye, I hope the lad's flights are refundable.

Might get a reasonable idea from what Burton drops to. 1600 allocation and obviously with it being a new ground will be very popular.
-
I understand the sentiment here. However, it's simply a by-product of how popular football has become since the inception of the PL, and there is no way round it.

Technically there's nothing to stop you buying a ticket for every game that goes to zero and if you don't attend, selling it on to family, friends, friends of friends etc. Fair enough we don't really want to be encouraging that, but if you feel you are somehow being stitched-up by an unfair system, maybe you need to play the game? FWIW, I don't think the number of fans is that buy a ticket for every game but don't go to that many is particularly high.
-
Wigan already down to zero points. Not sure what the allocation is but i'd think there's a good chance it goes to members.
-
Could be yeah, L6 Leazes. Just marked as Corporate on the stadium plan. So they're the ones in front of/beneath the Leazes exec boxes. Could be that they haven't sold the boxes for the game and the putting the seats associated with the boxes on sale? Or more likely just labelled wrong.
-
Certainly won't be far off a sell-out. Although it looks like they're not bringing many as we've already put two of the 'away' blocks on sale.
-
Think it only works on desktop/laptop not smaller devices.
-
I don't think that's an official policy. Not one i've heard about anyway. I think the allocation of points from 10 years+ back can sometimes be a bit sketchy (just basing that on what i've been told rather than actual knowledge) but I would imagine it should get better as we go on.
-
Barnsley went to general sale. I would guess there's possibility Wigan does too.
-
You could have got one for Barnsley last month. I suspect there's a reasonable chance you may be able to get one for Wigan next month.

Apart from the logistical problems of that, I reckon it would generally cause uproar. Whilst I think everyone would agree folk getting a ticket for every away game and selling 90% of them on for the points is pretty shabby, people getting the odd ticket for a mate who doesn't have a season ticket, not necessarily for the high demand games just bog standard ones that would go zero points anyway is fair enough, at least IMO anyway, although I could see why someone paying for a membership would disagree. I reckon if you took a standard away game there'd be maybe 10-20% of our fans who were not the 'named' person that purchased the ticket.
-
There should be enough space so they can be relocated elsewhere other than Level 7. At worst it'll be 3000 getting moved (probably less) and we have around 13k 'home' seats that aren't season ticket holder seats. How they decide how you pick where you want to go if you get moved, given price bands etc. is anyone's guess. Could become a mess.

That's what the mackems use isn't, albeit over the last 3 years? I think it's debatable whether it's fairer. Probably depends which side of the fence your on in terms of having points or trying to build them. My personal opinion is that our system is better, although I can see the justification for this type.
-
I think that could be our biggest allocation this season, given the terrible attendances due to the ongoing protests against the owners. We'll definitely get the whole of the Darwen End (about 6k), so it depends whether they decide it's worth the logistical hassle of giving us additional in one of the side stands.
-
They did that for the Sheff Wed cup game last year (I think) after it was requested at the Fans Forum. Anyone know why they didn't bother this season?

Members should earn loyalty points in the same way ST holders do and then get a priority period of buying tickets that go to members. So a member who has attended hundreds of away games gets priority over someone who has signed up only for this one fixture. If a member later joins up as a ST holder they should then start from 0 as a ST holder as that is the next stage up in the hierarchy. So in my world sales would be something like:- ST Holder with 100+ ST Holder with 75+ ST Holder with 50+ ST Holder with 25+ ST Holder with 0+ Member with 100+ Member with 75+ Member with 50+ Member with 25+ Member with 0+ With all sale dates obviously at shorter periods (a day or two rather than the week long ones currently given). That's not a bad shout. How many members are there that go to multiple away games without having a season ticket though? Folk from elsewhere in the country I suppose. I still think it would be fair enough to carry any points over when you went from a member to a season ticket holder, especially for the younger lot.
