Yep, I think @LFEE has highlighted their pod before, it’s excellent. Purslow gives really good insight that you don’t generally get elsewhere, and to be fair to Winter, he often takes a back seat and lets him do the majority of the talking. There’s one with the Coventry chairman that they did recently that I found very good. Can’t quite make my mind up about him yet (possibly being very unfair given what’s been achieved), but nonetheless, some of the stuff discussed was really interesting.

Excuse the self-quote, but yesterday was the perfect example of the points in bold. Not really making any great revelations to anyone, but they really are the overriding factors, that if solved, will have us punching well into the European places again. It’s pretty evident that it’s probably going to take some personnel additions/changes to solve them, which the manager seems well aware of. He (rightfully IMO) will be allowed to make those changes, but if they don’t appear to be working in the first half of next season, I think everyone, including him, know the consequences.

You’re completely right in that we’ll still continue to sign some PL players, and probably this summer, but with a reported valuation of £80m, it won’t be Kroupi.

Couple of videos: https://youtu.be/NZSAUycb55k?si=qVOwNpQsRur_G4eN https://youtu.be/HWy-Yj-aC5o?si=QC3cQtetEcLs2lZR There was also an article I read, but exactly where escapes me for the minute. Will try and dig it out later.

If he’s wanting away after being left out of the team for two games after underperforming, then he doesn’t possess the mental fortitude to succeed at the top level. Fortunately, I think he has a bit more about him than that.

Does ‘Elite aerial profile’ = tall?

What if Bayern (or anyone else) don’t offer the money we want, and he doesn’t decide to be a massive dickhead like certain people? He might go, he might not, but as long as he’s applying himself, he’s still one of our best players.

Not quite. 7th Europa, 8th Conference, plus Palace via winning Conference.
-
Could potentially see Gordon in for Willock. Assuming Forest will be playing that Jair Cunha at RB, so definitely there to be got at.
-
Disasi? Obviously fairly heavily linked with him previously and has looked a completely different player at West Ham, compared to Chelsea. 28 now like, so ship has probably sailed.
-
It’d be a bigger drop in revenue, but that drop would seemingly be nowhere near as consequential for Spurs as it would West Ham.
-
Some off the stuff that’s emerging about West Ham’s finances (which tbf, West Ham fans seem to have known for a while) is pretty alarming. I think relegation might actually be more damaging for them than it would be for Spurs.

Are there any PL clubs that would consider playing someone that had this kind of accusation hanging over them? Perhaps even being charged and having to go on trial for it? Any? Any, at all?
-
To some degree, I think you’re probably right. But I reckon if that team were Brentford or Bournemouth, they’d probably get given quite a bit more grace than other teams (including ourselves).

Eddie said if they really pushed it, he would have an outside chance of Fulham. So not that miraculous if he’s fit for the WC…

Apparently Valverde says there was no sparking out involved on either side and he just fell. Granted, that does seem a bit:
-
Murillo came on as sub like, although he did look about 17 clem.
-
I think the 10 included Forest, so that’s probably down to 9 now. And obv includes Palace, who likely finish bottom half. So 8th will be the lowest league place.

Fairly crushing defeat that, morale-wise, as well as the actual result. Up to us to take advantage.

The (Twitter) poster has conveniently cut off the last ten seconds of the that presser to cause maximum outrage. Worked a treat for them tbf.

Stupidity. Regardless of how big a game it is.
