Wow. you're absolutely wrong on this like, he jumped with his arms up and did what they're all trained to which is get his arms back down by his sides...the france player missed it and it hit his arm on the way down never a pen I don't really have an argument to make one way or another like, but KI, unless you're living a parallel reality as Ivan Perisic, you can't make statements like "blatantly deliberate". How do you know his arms aren't just coming down that way anyway? Not saying one way or another, but you can't be so certain of his intent like.

Added time in football is a mess imo. They literally never add on enough, I'd be in favour of 3 minutes standard time at the end of each half and anything else added on top of that - as to me that seems at least how much stoppage there is, even in a well-flowing match. When you think of how much time the ball actually spends in play, it must be about half of the game time, sometimes less.

Not sure if he was playing further forward at that stage but I think I read that he did used to play further forward at one stage Tbf I did read a Guardian article about Kante with insight from his former team-mates at Caen who said he was box-to-box as they had a dedicated DM which allowed Kante to roam a little as he was clearly far more talented than the players around him (they say). We will as well, I reckon. Somewhere around the £50m mark, whilst breaking our transfer record. I just think jumping in here to pile on the misery every time another club is linked with a transfer north of like £15m is a pointless exercise. Regarding the left behind stuff, I just think if say 10 clubs are in similar situation to us in terms of transfers, then I genuinely can't see how we're being left behind.

Kante has to be in that team over Golovin for me, he hasn't put a foot wrong and France wouldn't be in the final without the solidity he brings to that defence imo. Other than that I pretty much agree.
