Are you serious? They kept missing the easiest of passes. one of the worst passing sides I've ever seen. Just because they tried to play from the back doesn't mean it was good. A passing side with something like 75% passing rate is ridiculously bad. Russia with their more difficult passes had the same success rate almost. Not what I said at all. They played some nice stuff. Passes out the back were poor, but once in the midfield they were playing their triangles very well and some of them had great feet. I thought they looked a good technical side but didn't have the strength across the entire team that they required against such a massive, physical side. I was pleasantly surprised by them at times, so fair play SA.

Great strike Cheryshev. I genuinely don't think SA are that terrible personally, defence is and they haven't got a strong option up top, but their passing game is class, they've played some lovely intricate football in the midfield today and that's enough to not be dubbed as 'horrific' or 'terrible' imo.

The Saudi team is actually quite good aside from the central defenders who can't seem to pass. Midfielders like Nigel Al-Farrage need to drop deeper and take the ball from them. In which case I think Saudi have a chance here.

We do a much better job than on neighbours on this front mind, not sure it's really a problem of ours. We've made good profit on quite a few players in recent times where as they seem to lose a ton of money on nearly every player they bring in for a fee.

Yup spot on. I was fully intent on getting a ST again this season after not having one for 4 seasons, but the increase in price would have to matched by shows of ambition or even just support from the owner, and even as a massive optimist, I can't see that being the case whichever way I look.

They absolutely blitzed the championship, and Boly, Neves, Jota, Costa, Coady, Douglas are all PL quality. Add to that they have tons of cash and good connections I have no idea why you'd predict that Not one of them including the manager and staff have any Premier League experience though. Good players is one thing, performing effectively in this league seems to be another. Effectively being the key word. Just look at Renato Sanchez. I just think they will need a period of adaptation and won't be as hot as people are predicting. Such a period could be decisive imo. We'll see.

I'm predicting Wolves to go straight back down. I think they'll struggle to adapt more than the other sides. Cardiff to go down with them through lack of quality and Fulham to stay up in like 15th/16th. This prediction is based on absolutely nothing mind

Aye I really like Mbemba, him & Mitrovic were very good signings that haven't quite worked out as well as they should have. Always a shame to see good players leave. Mbemba for whatever criticism he's received IE. not bothering to learn English/follow instruction (not sure if true myself), he has always applied himself on the pitch when playing and worked hard for the team when given the chance. He'll be a success in a team that puts faith in him as one of their starting defenders.
