  1. Think he'd look good in a team who keeps possession and relies on good runs from the fowards. IE. Spurs, Liverpool, Leicester etc. Obviously easy to say X player would look good in X good team, but I think he would suit that style.
  2. Bullied Spurs' defence today. Class.
  3. Love him. Atsu was the main attacking threat from midfield today, but Almiron's willingness to chase, defend and apply pressure was superb to watch.
  4. Dummett MOTM but having Atsu (or Saint-Maximin) made a big difference from last week. Buzzing for Joelinton too, he was great. Unreal hold up play like.
  5. Atsu has been absolutely excellent coming on. Back 5 doing their job too. Dummett & Lascelles with some vital work in particular.
  6. Yep, bang on. The point I was trying to make but made better.
  7. Always has been pathetic, from the reaction to Lascelles' initial statements till now. A good example of energy used up on the wrong causes. I'd argue attending games and supporting the team is a better example of energy used up on the wrong cause but there you go, still gonna be nearly 50,000 mis-directing their energy at every home game. Missed the point, I'm talking about people who are staying away from games yet for some reason think it's useful to make dumb lists up of players to hate based on PR shite and vanilla quotes in the paper. Waste of time. Let's hate Mike Ashley, but let's hate Lascelles, Dummett & Longstaff too... Nah.
  8. Looks like 4-4-1-1 to me. Hope he adopts it for the foreseeable as his attempt at 3/5 at the back was clearly not going to work. Harsh on Manquillo mind. -----------------Dubravka----------------- Krafth----Schar---Lascelles----Dummett Ritchie---Hayden---Longstaff---Maximin ------------------Almiron------------------ -----------------Joelinton------------------ Ritchie & ASM both cutting inside potentially. Been a while since I've seen Ritchie on the right with potential to use his left foot long range strike. Intrigued.

  10. Luke Shaw was our player of the year. And you were an average, clogger side. Don't kid yourself son. We're not the Man United of old but we were challenging for the top four until the last couple of games of the season. That's not average like your West Hams/Bournemouths/Newcastles. Very generous to group us in with those like
  11. Mount is much better. Never quite understood the fuss about Loftus Cheek.
  12. Jota is good to watch like. Villa look like they can play decent stuff albeit coming on the back of a wave of confidence from scoring. Sometimes all it takes. Shame we wait till 90+3 to score when the other time are already packing their bags.
  13. Tbf, the majority of team's goalscoring opportunities come from passes from outside of the box into the box, IE. crosses, through balls etc.
  14. The most sickening thing about the Mike Ashley reign for me is the way his actions and treatment of the club has become normalised. It appears like our fans and the wider football community have just accepted it and thus he can just do what he wants. Helpless to it. Every show of apathy and hatred towards the club and its supporters from Ashley is no longer (or ever has been) met with the appropriate level of resistance. It's just accepted. Us as fans can't really do much, as if our voices can't penetrate the levels he operates on. As if our voices are just background noise coming from a different plane. This is where you would want the papers, the politicians, those high enough up to have an impact on this fucker to show up for the sake of what is right. For the sake of a wonderful football club, one of best in the country, being ran into the ground by a man who not only doesn't show ambition, not only doesn't give a fuck, but appears to actively be trying to piss fans off. I just don't understand how it's been allowed to go on for so long. Are there any examples in this country of a football club owner being removed from their position due to negligence?
  15. I'm on team Mandoon here but you could be s*** at it, what's your track record? Signed Hazard, £138 million, paid in instalments over 48 months. £15,000 goal bonus. No Malo Aye, until he forgot to press save.

  17. Pedro is brilliant. One of my favourite players to watch in the PL.
